Any business, health, or social endeavor that involves the number is practically guaranteed to result in terrible misfortune, usually through an elaborate series of unexpected coincidences. Most hotels don’t even have a thirteenth floor, skipping directly from the twelfth to the fourteenth. Of course, the fourteenth floor is technically the thirteenth, and people who stay in rooms in such places typically have horrible accidents in which they accidentally hang themselves while shaving. Friday the 13th is seen as a particularly unlucky day, and not just for teenagers having sex at Camp Crystal Lake. Anything that can go wrong will, in fact, do so, and you’re quite likely to lose your wallet, miss your bus, and accidentally stick your hand into a desk drawer filled with rabid badgers. This is after you tumble down the stairs into a barrel full of molasses. Your best bet on such days is probably to just call in sick and spend the afternoon hiding under the covers. Please note that unintentional death by blanket asphyxiation is 30% more likely during this time period. Some more unspeakable trivia about the Number 13: - The thirteenth tarot card is Death. - There are thirteen steps leading up to the gallows. - Judas was the thirteenth apostle. - Genghis Khan lived during the thirteenth century - There are thirteen letters in Edgar Allen Poe’s name. - The Trickster God Loki crashed a banquet once, becoming the thirteenth guest. - Thirteen Ghosts is a really, really bad movie. It's just like when you think you are seeing the same number everywhere, realistically all it is is you having a fixation on a particular number so you end up noticing it more. Just like the 13th. According to probability and chance, over a long period of time unfortunate events are just as likely to happen on any other day as it is the 13th. There is no such thing as an unlucky number, day, date, time, month, or anything. It's all bullsh*t concocted by people who seem to believe there are links between unfortunate events happening, and once they start believing it, the more that happens, the more they believe it, completely ignoring anything unfortunate that happens on any other date. Wish I was joking, my cat really did die (Had her since I was 4, got a new one like 5 weeks later, the new(er) cat just isn't the same ), my 1st 360 did die (Got a 250GB slim like 3 weeks later though), my PS3 nearly died (Till my dad fixed it) and my old computer almost died (Till my dad fixed it). In fact, quite the opposite; I had an English Literature modular GCSE exam on Friday the 13th and I got an A*, which is the best I've ever got in an English exam. We reach the spot and I pull the car over. "hahahaha!" we hear laughing sounds coming from behind the car. I turned back and saw a grey van parked behind our car. Then for no apparent reasons, this 13 year old kid spews diarrhea in my face. No, wait.. it ain't no diarrhea but it was some colorless liquid. I wake up sometime later, but not in my car. It was totally dark, but I could see the silhouette of 13 tall man standing around me, and they were all naked. And they all had dicks that was like 13 inch long. Yeah, I am good in mensuration that way. "hahahaha" A laughter broke out among them. "Get yo' ass ready, bitch" I heard a voice. I tell them that I'm not into that sh*t but it was too late - if you get my drift. Then, someone puches me on the face and I go unconscious again. And this time I wake up next to my car! I find a few dollar bill lying next to me, totally 13 dollars. AHHH, my bum is sore and I feel like a wasted whore. 13 sucks man, 13 sucks!
