Jolly Swagman
I know it's been said before but I really can't stand that in-car radio. The music is ok but the voice over is mind numbing. The guy who voices Rabi Ray Rana must have spent all of ten minutes in the recording booth. They are especially annoying after completing the campaign missions because the updated announcements are mixed with the old 'I'm talking to you Pagan Min' announcements. Also, at one point he talks about eating bacon and in another announcement he says all the people of Kyrat are vegetarian. Huh? It's gotten to the stage where I drive everywhere by quad-bike or Buzzer if I can because I hate the radio so much...! My biggest personal gripe with the DJ is his constant references to sh*tting and wiping your arse which he seems to think are comedy gold . He sounds like a 7 year laughing at the word poo. You can turn off the radio using the d-pad to save having to use buzzer or quad ~Tiger~
~Tiger~
You can turn off the radio using the d-pad Awesome. I tried pressing the D Pad to shut him up but nothing happened. Of course, you have to HOLD <- on the D Pad for it to work. Thank you, Namaste! Jolly Swagman

Vertighost
Sorry I don't have the game, I have seen reviews and gameplay, should I get this game now, or wait for a price drop or second hand copy? Compared to GTA V Is it a good sandbox?

Compared to GTA V Is it a good sandbox? It's a good enough sandbox game, I guess. But it's essentially just a reskin of Far Cry 3.It's still just an outpost liberating simulator, no matter how many elephants and gyro-copters they throw at it. Definitely not comparable to GTA V. So I'd wait for a price drop... a significant price drop...
nath22
If you didn't play FC3 then it's worth getting. If you did I'd wait until it drops. It's CoD levels of reskin. mr quick
darthYENIK
I own FC3, and love it. I'm renting FC4, and will probably keep it. They've added enough to where I'm comfortable saying its not a rehash. If you're looking strictly at "sandbox" elements, it's no GTAO, but what is? Alot of the gameplay aspects are very similar to FC3, but is that really a bad thing? In terms of it's setting, story, characters etc you could hardly call it a reskin. Being a reskin suggests it's just as good as Far Cry 3. It's not.

Those are exactly where it is a reskin for me. It adds a few cool new features, like the climbing, gyro and co op but the rest is mostly the same. Confused 20 something white man ends up in an exotic place full of things that are trying to kill him where he rapidly becomes a master hunter/assassin much to his own confusion. Against your will you start helping out the local freedom fighters and happen to meet a crazy guy whos only purpose is to look good in trailers and deliver long pieces of dialogue about society/how he is doing things for the greater good. That is the entire story for both games. Far Cry 3's story was boring, it had its moments thanks to Vas but at least it made sense. This one is plain bad. I like this game, but that's because I loved 3 and more of the same is okay by me but I've had the game for about a month and played no more than 20 hours because I played it 2 years ago. Vehicles
I was TROLLED by the game. And I'm pissed about it. So I got to the part where you blow up Pagan's statue. I walked down and the statue f*cking fell on me. When I tried to walk out of the rubble,I was stuck inside. I tried every way but still no avail. Now I have to start a new game and I'm not had py about it.

mr quick
I was quite disappointed with this game. It feels like an extension of FC3, not a standalone game. I've only seen it on PS4, and these are some of my grievances: The water is laughably poor in appearance. It looks like a shader conceived in 2006. It doesn't behave like water would, and it seems like an afterthought. Even worse in visual quality is the draw distance. When at a point near the edge of the map, the mountains in the distance look like they would not be good enough for a PS2 game. They've put in some nice effects, but the game is uninteresting, the radio annoying, and a lot of the visual things were inexplicably overlooked. Vehicles
After finishing the game, the story is quite illogical. So you were asked to dine with a guy that did nothing to you.You ran away and started killing everyone he knows,I mean what did the guy ever did to you? Another thing is the weapons near the end of the game. Those are too overpowered.I mean where did the people in Kyrat get a semi auto 50 cal sniper and a mg42 from? Yeah, GTA SA's graphics are way superior But seriously i hear this spiel all the time, I even hear bullsh*t like this come from TotalBiscuit who is meant to be a respectable critic of games, I'll admit he knows his fair share but when it comes to anything graphics based I would take Stevie Wonder's word over his. El Dildo
for lack of a better descriptive term, your critique is just really douchey. you haven't even played the game. you watched it being played and decided the entire thing is bad because "dead water" and "draw distance" both of which are splitting hairs if not downright inaccurate. the game is huge and full of sh/t to do. but you're focused on the water and draw distance. what a dorky, weak, shallow complaint that is. sorry. I wouldn't say that those two are focal points, they're only what I wrote in my critique. The long and short of it is that it was surprisingly similar to FC3. I didn't say "the entire thing is bad" because of those things listed, in fact I never said it at all. All I said was that I was disappointed.
