I was hoping we can pull these off on our own in free roam and maybe even in online free roam. There are a few robberies I'm hoping we can pull of with each of our protagonists in free roam if we really wanted to. •Liquor Store/Corner Store Robbery •Robbing someone in ally-way/parking lot •Robbing someones things inside of vehicles(without stealing the vehicle) •Robbing Malls at night •Robbing restaurants •Robbing Houses (GTA SA? but better) •Gas Stations also Also the timing of these robberies can all change the scenerio. Day time •Stores have witnesses and a cashier •Parking lots have witnesses •Someone could see you take things from cars •Malls can't be robbed the same way as night •Restaurants can't either •Houses will either be empty or with people inside awake or on porch either way witnesses outside unless stealth is used and timing. Night Time •Stores could be 24/ hours or not •If not then sneak in without setting alarms •Parking Lots and Ally ways have no witnesses and easier stealth •More cars, less witnesses •Malls can be sneaked into but security cameras and security guards will be around can kill them or use stealth •Houses will be empty, people inside sleeping, or partying, staying up, or watching tv, less witnesses too Masks If anything is used to cover your face, witness can't do sh*t or security tape People fighting back Peds fight back if being robbed without a weapon Peds will try to hold down the city by protecting there store This should definitely be allowed to be done online also and hopefully R* has thought of all these scenarios and left them out of the gameplay preview just to keep things to themselves. We could rob peds at cash points in IV just by pointing a gun at them IIRC. Kinda like robbing shops in SA. I would love to get on GTAV with my 2 friends and roleplay with our custom online characters and (hoping there are many interiors) go inside our ghetto house, plan to rob the liquor store (roleplaying of course) then actually be able to do it with like a full realistic view on it instead of just people screaming then running away. Alsa imagine planning to rob a big mall interior type building. waiting until night then sneaking in with friends WITH MASKS and poor guns if you want to roleplay kill the security guards if you want or just sneak by without getting caught at all. Opening up the mall store things and robbing everything I live robbing. Also all the images are from google. I'm also praying they add mugging people, because I hate pointing guns at people just to have them raise their arms for a quick 2 seconds and then run off without forking over any money(Ala GTA 4) The mugging feature was added in RDR & it was marvelous, actually...now that I think about it, it could have been done better but at the time it was perfect. Since GTA5 looks like a combination of RDR, Max Payne, and just general GTA, I'm sure it'll be implemented. I also look forward to robbing random stores & shops. Like for example; the marijuana dispencery we saw Frank coming from. I WANT TO BUY WEED FROM THEM & THEN ROB THEM! dude...being a criminal is f*cking fun. MrcTOtheJ Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 They mentioned this in the last group previews that Liquor stores and the such could be robed so I'm sure allot of the ideas you had will be in, Convience stores and such, the first group of previews mentioned robing cash trucks and being able to follow them to the bank, or just rob them right then and their for less heat and less cash while in freeroam as well. That said it's one of the features I'm really looking forward to, VC had it but this seems allot more in depth, and IV had it as well but you just slid open a cash register and got some cash. All of that said, I love the ideas TC, and they're all things I think should make it in, I'm sure the basics like witnesses fighting back making it in, and being able to use masks but I also hope that there's a mall to break into at night, as well as Houses which I wanted back since San Andreas. You can't rob anyone in IV without a mod. This is an interesting list and a good point you bring up TC. I am interested in what we are able to rob. I also would like to see clerks get ballsy and start shooting back at you. Would feel more real than every time everyone just submitting. Some people don't give a damn and will risk dieing to shoot back, I have seen "Too dangerous for TV" where clerks killed robbers because they didn't expect them to shoot them. I hope there are enough things to rob and steal from that it isn't just like oh hey, you can only rob convenient stores, or whatever. Wouldn't even be worth putting in in my opinion if it was that limited, so I think Rockstar will have enough places and things and people for us to rob if we feel the need to do so. I have so many creative ideas to make open world video games feel alive that R* have probably already thought just don't want to waste time. Imagine walking GTA version of compton and some dude walks up to and says "Ay, C^huz lemme get everything in yo pockets right now" Fight em or lose everything in your pocket (not really everything) Or walking in the middle of a basketball game (if there could hopefully be those) and they push you and yell at you and possibly kic your ass or walking through an ally and some tough guy tries to rob you gunpoint things like that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The type of thing where you pull up to a Seven Eleven, take out a bandana put it over your face, grab a glock out of the Glove Box and go in and take all of the money out of the cash register type deal. But you do bring up an intresting point we've only seen a Bank Job and a Jewlery store job and a mini smash and grab on a armored car. I'm hoping and suspecting that we'll steal something from that Military base at one point, and as a Car guy I'd love a mini heist about jacking some cars off of a car carrier or something, and then leading into a three car Hyper Car chase similar to No. 1 from TBoGT just cranked up to 11. (I'm talking 250Mph Cars like that CCX clone) Another thing I'm hoping for is that when we have someone at gun point we can tell them what to do, such as Get down, fork over the money, or in a cashier's case give you everything in the register, and maybe even a command to have the Cashier take you to the safe in the back (most stores have one) so you can get money there, it'd take longer and could result in the cops geting called sooner, but more reward. Maybe even the option to go in casually and just happen to crack the safe, people could find you but if you're sneaky you should be able to ge in and get out no issue.
