So I'v taken/edited out the weapon icons from the weapon wheel and decided to post them here.

Sorry for the rough cuts.

 

Starting from the AP Pistol, going clock-wise:

I found it pretty interesting how there were 2 ARs in the weapon wheel and no SMG.

 

I think it means we can swap out any weapon we like within the wheel, theoretically carrying all SMGs or ARs if we want. Rockstar did confirm that we can keep and customize weapons throughout playing, so you don't necessarily lose your weapons if you run out of ammo. I really like that we're not confined to just 1 of each type of weapon and can really pick and choose what we carry around with us.

No. They said u cant loose the weapons. Its like RDR. You have all weapons with you and when you open the wheel you can switch through all pistils by pressing dpad left/right and so on.

For melee weapons I guess you have to switch through where the fist sign is located

Would assume that this means that we can holster weapons and dont have to choose the fist to holster the.

You're right. I don't see an SMG slot. The Carbine Rifle is an AR, and there is a separate LMG slot...

Don't know man.. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it actually works but again, I don't see an SMG in there. Which spot would that be under? The pistol? Still, they did say we can customize weapons and won't lose them, so that's good.

I think in the AR slot. A carbine is actually no AR. In most shooter carbines, smgs and PDWs are in the same class.

Yeah, I think the SMGs, carbine and pdws will all be one category since they are for short range. ARs and LMGs will likely be lumped together ad well.
