Kaster
When I watched this frame on the video i became very happy with draw distance of cars, you can see clearly many vehicles on the bridge at the right side. But watching this screenshot again i noticed that there is no cars on the left roads, they are completely empty,! Why?

Pathum
Maybe nobody needs to go that way? JK. Yeah, I noticed it too. Not sure what's up with that or how it could be explained. But I'll keep my faith up and just assume R* has either edited it or used a special build with less traffic too boost the other graphics in that pic a bit. nigelhere9901
Why did you rely on bullshots in the first place? It's your fault you had high expectations.

Dope_0110
It's not actual draw distance of the cars. Those are placements that are used in IV too when you're in a helicopter or on a high building. As you get close to them they disappear and real cars are loaded. The reason they are not on the left side in the picture is probably because the game didn't load them yet as that screen is captured in the middle of a character switch from Michael to Franklin. Kaster
Maybe the player was on the right side in the screenshot? Yes he was, but if you see frame per frame there is no cars. It seems thst it was intentionally made like this

danny41294
Stop complaining! GTA V will be awesome! No, I know it will be; probably the best game of this generation. It's just that sometimes I wonder how great this could have been on next-gen with things like draw distance and stuff and I know people will say "just want till' VI then!" but thats still like 5-6 odd years away and I don't want to wait! But still, V will be amazing!

Trund
Who cares. Some people expect too much from consoles with 512mb total RAM. It will have a limited amount of displayed cars, it will have popups, it will have disappearing/appearing cars, it will have texture problems and many more problems, but that's just how it is, and it doesn't even bother me. If you were able to enjoy past GTA's you will be able to enjoy this one...
Spider-Vice
It's not called draw distance on the tennis shot but yes anisotropic filtering, I don't think the consoles can handle more than this. R* know what they're doing, and for current gen and an open world game, I think it's pretty friggin' awesome and it's the only way they can prevent lag. GTA IV was what it was and it had some framerate drops on the PS3 when I tried it there. DaRkL3AD3R
Yeah the tennis court issue is Anisotropic filtering. It would look fine on a PC with a high end graphics card. If the OP screenshot was during the transition from Franklin to Michael then I'm almost positive you shouldn't worry about it mate. That's because it was quickly moving across the map and zooming in down on the ground. In normal flying you should see stuff there. Rockstar wouldn't let that slip.
