FrostKiller1
In the previous GTA games I didn't like that I have to drive all the time(with few exeptions) in every mission. So if there are three protagonist, do you think that we will be forced to drive on every mission. Or I can get in the car as Franklin and the othes seat two seat in the car two and I suddenly switch to Michael or Trevor and leave the CPU to drive to the destination. I hope we can do that. So what do you think?
Backfire6
I never minded driving to the locations. But it'd be a interesting change if they allowed a choice in the matter.
KonradGM
i would love it, i never minded driving to locations, but sometimes i thinked, how would it be to be on passager seat. wont mind it
Don_Corleone
They had things like that in RDR so I assume it's possible. Swap to the character in the passenger skip and press a certain button to skip 2 the destination

I Luke
I dont mind driving, but with these new car physics i dont think ill want to CRY BITCH. OT: I don't mind driving but it would be a nice feature knowing how big the map will be.
GTAV92
I did get bored of driving in Liberty city so i ended up using the taxis for all the last missions. The reason everyone got bored of driving in Liberty City is because it was the same environment constantly (concrete jungle) but with GTAV there is so much more environment i just cant wait to drive everywhere - especially in Blaine County
Guest
I made a thread about this not too long ago. I hope we can be a passenger. It would be better for shooting. Like in TBOGT every time I did a drugwar missions they would drive up and Armando would scoot over and tell me to drive. I liked drivng but sometimes I want to be the passenger shooter and maybe even have the skip option like the cabs.
Miss Darko
They said one of the upsides of having three protagonists is being able to eliminate 'dead spots' in missions. Most of the time we'll be driving around (I mean, it's Grand Theft Auto - the game's all about driving) like we usually do, but we won't always have to go all the way to a location because the mission may switch us over to another character who's doing something more interesting. So while one character is going up several floors in a stairwell, you play as the guy who's flying around (like the Extraction mission, where you don't play as Franklin getting to his spot on the skyscraper, but rather as Trevor flying the helicopter). It's a matter of stuff like that, so situations where the driving is a boring 'dead spot', we probably will at least have a choice to do something else. Also, if there's a chase and at least two of the protags are in a car, you can probably choose whether you're the guy in the passenger seat shooting at other cars or the guy driving it. TheKrigeron
Awesome! How did they expect us to read the subtitles while driving? I Understand english now but when there is all this noise I can't understand words sometimes, so for this idea!

Mnxanr
Was confirmed in one of the previews a while back that you can choose whether to be the driver, the gunman, or whatever else. In other words, when you're on a mission with 2-3 of the protagonists, you can choose whether or not you're the one driving. I hope this answers your question. Grand Theft Savage
That was in L.A Noire. If you didn't feel like driving, hold Y/Triangle to have your partner drive to the location. I'm a pretty good driver these days, so I don't even mind driving. But we should definitely have a choice.
sddales
I never minded driving to the locations. But it'd be a interesting change if they allowed a choice in the matter. Well here's the thing. You just meet someone you are doing a mission for and they need to go somewhere. They hand you the keys to their $50-80,000 vehicle and tell you that you are driving...every time. I don't know about you, but when I meet someone new I don't hand them the keys to my car and say "You drive".
Dope_0110
But.. what if all three are in a car, and it's possible to switch to other character who is not driving. Would you really do that?

When you are doing those drug wars missions back to back it would be nice to be a passenger to get to the destination. It got old driving to the same places over and over. I never understood why we had to drive that SUV to a boat when a cab would have worked just fine.
