lance22
Rockstar probably tuned up the cars for the driving scenes. They didn't want to show footage of them wrecking or flipping the cars, so they tuned them up to handle above the default stats of the cars. tuning a car is not going to change driving physics, until you learn that stop replying with your stupid posts

Mr.Paper
the game drives like a racing game, gta isn't a racing game. gta is suppose to be like real life driving and when that audi r8 was speeding across traffic it looked like need for speed or something. redx165
I lol at people that said GTA IV handling is perfect. It was worst then the arcade feeling of the III era. Cars need to be fun not a boat. However bad you think the driving in IV is, the driving in those older GTAs is 100x worse.
GTAaLEX117
Honestly, I think people should look at this: I think people really don't know what's "realistic" and what's not. GTA V's physics were good, but they weren't exactly realistic, and swerving at high speed isn't exactly unrealistic if you're in a fast sports car. davetopper
We've seen like 3 seconds of driving, I don't know how people are making assumptions like this. I don't know either. I was looking at 3:20 to 3:24. And really I don't see a difference. The car may be more responsive but it still is spongy enough to be believable. In asking for it, we can blame the rotten kids. I was once on a multiplayer race and I won, way first. You should have seen these kids running into every damn thing. When they couldn't win they tried killing me, it was hilarious. I became quite good at gas/handbrake/brake. Anyway after I won they kicked me. Being in my fifties, I laughed my ASS OFF!. In the realm of real steel. I had a 1980 Chevy Impala ( I should have gotten rid of her rather than the car ) and it had super sixty tires on it. 14 inch bad boys all the way around. Thirty mile per hour turns were not uncommon for this car. It was an automatic, so you would just drop in into overdrive at the right moment. Damn that car was fun a rode like a dream. It felt as if it could fly. Anyway, the kids...... But like I said in the OP. They asked for it. Many here asked for it. Many did not, I understand that. But you have to rile feathers if you want true honesty out of folks. And man did we get some honesty here. really guys you need to take some pills and chill with the death threats. Like I said I really do not think the difference will be huge and who knows in the repair shop we'll be able to swap back to adult handling. By the way if you have $20 to kill and you want to see bad physics in a bad game, try Test Drive Unlimited 2. The cars in that game don't even know what a road is. The Viper is ridiculous. And it cheats the player like I have never seen. I have seen bad, and GTA V could never be THAT bad.

Even so, in V you'd loose control at incredibly low speeds and that's not exactly "ultra realistic"...

infiniteammo
I loved the car handling in IV, it was a huge improvement over San Andreas. That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing what Rockstar Games gives us with V even more, they're not going to ruin their flagship title folks. ^.^

Well you see Infernus in GTA IV is pretty much Murcielago in real life as is the car this guy is driving here. If you would know anything about the Infernus is that it doesn't slide around much, barely at all actually. With an Infernus you can easily do these maneuvers, all of them. Trust me I have over 500 hours on GTA IV, most of which was driving.

Huge over SA? That's being mild. I played that game again recently, and ever so calmly took it out of my tray and put it back in the case. EEK. I really think in all honesty that the change here will be small.
jpalmer2004
At first I was a little freaked about the driving. I've been sitting here watching it again and again, and it don't look as Arcady as first thought. The truck Trevor was in looked like it was a bit boat like and swung a bit. I will admit. I freaked when I saw that first car scene. Gta online looked epic!!!!!! they havent shown gta v online yet The end of the video there is a short multiplayer shot. I just wanna say I love you guys. Sitting here reading all you guy scream at each other is highly entertaining. lol
