They see 30 seceonds of driving in game and instantly assume it's arcady? stuff like this isn't wanting it to be the best it can be, it looks like a great game so far, people just need to be happy the waits nearly over. I logged on here 30 minutes after the video released and everyone was so bubbly talking about how awesome everything was and analyzing all the frames. Now it's just people bitching about the car's handling (an opinion they based of of 45 seconds of footage) and bitching about the new HUD or complaining about the minimap. *Sigh* R* must have the hardest fans to please in the world. Kind of the norm for a big game releasing it's first gameplay footage - it's not perfection to someone so it's obviously massively flawed. /sarcasm Sadly this forum is infested with whiners. It's a big community and while it has good discussion from time to time, there are passive-aggressive trolls and whiners everywhere, and today is a field day for complaining. Add in the typical hate and vitriol you get from some users and you get flame wars, everywhere. You won't know how it is when you're playing it, I believe the sports car physics are for the sports cars, and the rest will be fine. But a few days ago there were threads around here about how the cars are slow and how they feel like boats, now they are too fast and arcade-y? Really? I didn't even notice it till I noticed the thread about it. And I look back on it, and I still don't quite see what they're going on about. It's just madness. The driving physics, I can see the worry behind it. To me though, it doesn't look that bad, and I'm an advocate of IV's handling (with a little improvement here and there), but how can we say for sure that ALL cars and trucks will handle like that, those were sports cars for hells sake.
