Okin Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 I think its fair to say the question of whether Rockstar were enhancing the screenshots either with photoshop or something is now over. The screens are clearly completely pre-rendered or altered beyond a fair representation of the game. Not taking shots at the graphics, but its clear they were taking liberties with the screens. Dope_0110 Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 I always agreed that they did enhance them in game by using proper lighting and adding extra lights in scenes just for the shots. Also rendering them with maximum anti aliasing, something consoles won't be able to do realtime. Also, custom camera angles did their part of the job and we got super nice screens. It's daytime in one, nighttime in the other. There's a fixed camera view from the bottom (cinematic cam), and a third person perspective in the other. You can see the front of the character in one, and the back of 2 in the other. One is moving extremely fast, and the other one is nearing the land. What and how are you even comparing? We don’t have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now." Thats like saying the cars from the air dont look as detailed as the close up of the cars (Like in the car modification scene for example) The jetski which trevor is riding is in close view. The other is far away. And if you're on about the scenery too. The trailer image looks better and crisp. So i dont know what you're trying to do.
