RockStarNiko
Will you explore and learn the whole map, before you start the story? I mean block by block, all back alleys, paths and trails, all underwater, all interiors, everything

RussianFreak
I'm probably going to do the first couple of missions first, but after that I'm certainly going to spend some time looking around. Obviously I'm not going to go through every back alley and everything (after 4 years of SA I was still finding new places) since I'll discover that as I play, but I will certainly go to every region, so to speak, of the map--get a feel of the city, taste the atmosphere of South Central, ride though Richman or Muholland in a fancy car, hunt in the wilderness, etc etc. But after that, it's right to the story mode! Dark_AnNiaLatOr
I played GTA V for so many 100s of hours yet I couldn't memorize the map. I think it might have been because everything looks the same. Hopefully it'll be different this time with more landmarks and small towns to use as points of reference.
Sticky Pads
I'm playing multiplayer first, so will probably explore much of the map right away.
