HUD? map, stats, etc

The new map looks great, besides the armor + health being a bit small. Sure I will get used to it.

Seems like they didnt make it too complex/detailed, instead focusing on the environment and gameplay.

 

Noticed it changed depending upon your activity such as golf, flying, on foot, etc.

 

There are a few things I have yet to workout, that others could bring some insight to.

 

1)During Franklins combat scene a red dot seems to grow and shrink...what was with that?

2) Whole map flashes blue+red when you have a wanted lvl and you can see that cops are indicated as before...how will line of sight come into play?

3) I liked the ability to draw back the map in GTAiv, wonder if this no longer an option.
