ArcherTheGreat
Hey everyone ! It's been a prosperous hour so far and I've noticed something pleasing from the gameplay videos . Remember in GTA IV where the roads are unrealistically narrow? Highways only had 2 lanes per direction and are generally difficult to drive on and streets usually are really narrow as well. Looks like they've fixed it up in GTA V, most likely following their ambition in making a living city even more immersive. The freeways have 3-4 lanes and majority of the roads have at least 2 lanes per direction now. Another thing I've noticed is how traffic has been improved. When Franklin was sniping on that rooftop, you could see clearly the traffic flow below, unlike in GTA IV where they are all replaced by red and white dots. Gonna be an awesome game Lastly, at the end of the trailer where you overlook the GTA Online portion, you could spot what looked like rail lines embedded in the roads below, and they do curve a lot like a real tram system does, suggesting that they will make an appearance. GTA V all the way !!! Just 2 more months

Geez, why not make it 3 lanes then? But then again, I might be wrong. Haven't been to LA countryside. 2:34 for example. I don't know... It's possible that the road you're talking about is actually meant for 4 lanes of traffic . Just like in GTA IV, some roads near the more run-down areas would only have one lane divider right down the center of the road but in fact 2 lanes of traffic are occupying one apparent lane . But I've never been to the countryside either so can't tell for sure. It may serve the purpose of more fluid police chases and not constant collisions with civilian traffic.
