Just wondering on other peoples opinion about the driving dynamics in GTA V?

Yeah it looked a tad bit arcade like.. but it could be that whoever was driving had the driving skill maxed or something. Or it could just look worse than it really is, who knows. The only times it looked arcade like to me was when it showed'em driving FAST as hell. I dunno still looked good though.

I just sent an E-Mail to R* telling them that everything in the game looks perfect, except the driving & flying.

Waay to aracde-like. I really hope they fix it.

It will honestly almost ruin the game for me if that's how the driving is. It looks like L.A Noir. The driving in that game was terrrrible.

I really dont understand why some people like arcade style driving. If you drive a car normally in GTA 4 then you wouldnt flip over or spin out.

Yeah...I think we will just have to play for ourselves. And skill levels might impact on driving dynamics as well.

Nah Tso Gud

Perhaps altering your suspension will cause the arcadeyness? This way they can cater to both crowds...

I hope it isn't arcade... It would ruin a huge section of the game, and would require no talent for moving around.

The bit where the two cars are weaving in and out of oncoming traffic looks too unrealistic.

Driving at 4:26 looked arcade as f*ck.

In real life that car would either fell off the road or crash.

In GTA IV that would be impossible.

I hope Rockstar isn't serious about f*cking up such MAJOR feature as driving

Yes, I mean the only reason why I keep coming back to playing GTA IV is cause the driving to me is realistic and how it should be. But like I said we have to play for our selves.

If I nitpick the thing frame by frame, yeah I can find stuff that looks off, but after a couple of viewings all I can say is that my pants are thoroughly buttered.

Yeah, they are going to fix the driving and flying which doesn't need to be fixed because some kids on a forum don't like it,also the game is supposed to be released in 2 months .

Yes, I agree. I'm not sure why many found driving in GTA IV to be really 'heavy', for its time, and what it is, I found it perfect. I just don't want GTA V ruining something they kept improving on for nearly a decade.

Remember. One of the previews said that the man playing the demo was "the best GTA player I've ever seen". None of us will be able to drive like that.

You really think they'd go back and fix it just for you when the game releases in 2 months

Keep in mind you pretty much only saw really fast and responsive super cars that might be tuned to the max and stuff.

GTA IV driving was also a bit unrealistic because cars slided too easily and behaved like a boat.

But in Ballad Of Gay Tony it was improved and great, close to real life. Easily better than what's in the GTA V gameplay vid.

But what is it about GTA IV that made it bad? The way vehicles reacted was fine, and how they handled overall. Even if they kept the same handling in GTA V, it would be fine for me.

Not at all. That is how supercars move. Not like the "boats" of GTA IV.

I'm fine with the driving. I don't care if it's too unrealistic and arcade-y. I preferred the driving in earlier games to GTA IV.

GTA IV driving was great and I would be happy if GTA V was like that as well.

I appreciate the new driving mechanics. I don't know why everyone wants this game to be a life simulator.

GTA IVs driving was cool but it wasn't fun.

This is what I keep reminding myself, because supercars are very very responsive even at high speed. More differences between cars will be great.

Super cars whilst obviously are much more capable can not possibly weave in and out and then in again of 3 lanes of traffic at those speeds in such a sharp movement...
