I was hoping this would be bloody and gory more along the lines of RDR and MP3. The driving did look a bit arcadey at one point. Some of the textures didn't look great. That's all I got. It won't be the perfect game but I think it may just be closest thing. In a game like this, getting superior textures is difficult and would probably cause lag. I bet they tried but they couldn't. Can't wait! It will surely look better once R* releases it for download on their website. Youtube compresses everything. Also, 83 days? There are 4 people on the selector wheel. Maybe the 83 days means that many days til that person is unlocked. Nah, the 83 character is for multiplayer. I wonder what it means. Probably like most large scale Multiplayer Games. The game looks absolutely PERFECT, I can't help but watch the video over and over again! The multiplayer teaser as the end was real good too! kasa Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 I have put this also in other thread: first of all I want to say I loved the trailer but for the rest I still missed a lot of info about the ghetto part of the game except the shot with the graffiti (which didn't look like LA ganggraffiti at all). Also, when I first watched the video I was disappointed in how much it looked like IV, but then I watched it again and saw a ton of details like how much better the shadows are and how the texture pop-in has been minimized when it does pop, the smoothness of the gun aiming, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There was a big thing on this forum about people who did not want that feature (or just one very vocal person, I can't remember which). But for me? Nope. I mean, at the same time, nothing really went past my expectations in a bad way, like something unexpected cropping up. It was just hopes of mine being confirmed, and the addition of some stuff I didn't really care about either way (like time slowing down with the weapon wheel). The gunplay looks great, the driving looks great (the camera gives it kind of a arcadey racing game sort of look, but don't be fooled: the physics look quite realistic), and the graphics are just as fantastic as the trailers. Couldn't agree more, it looks like Rockstar has mastered RAGE completely. Game looks perfect, and it (probably) deserves game of the year, or hell even the decade. And an award for the most ambitious game. The delay was TOTALLY worth it! Hell yeah, I was so pissed when they delayed it thinking they were just bullsh*tting us with polishing, but woaw.
