When the white car is driving, theres a sign that says "Steak and Cheese. All you can eat."

Pissing myself at all the people raging over the driving. It's clearly better/more fun than IV which definitely was not realistic (not saying V's driving is realistic though)

 

Skidding all over the place while make a simple and a relatively slow right turn is not my definition of fun. Tighter car handling is good in my book. If I want to play need for speed I'll buy the game.

Really loving how the city looks this time around - looks much more lively and real than Liberty City did, and I love how big the map is from what we saw. anyone willing to explain what happen in the map during Franklin's combat scene? plz

the red dot would grow larger then smaller

then at times the outside of the map would be shaded red

 

was this inflicted damage and something else?

The reticule change indicates a kill.

 

The shaded map indicated sound radius.

so this is where stealth comes into play? the red circle changing sizes on the map(hud) means you are making noise

thats hella cool if so!

 

then the map being shaded is damage? instead of the whole screen like in games (bioshock infinite, RDR)

dude absolutely. V is RDR (gameplay-wise) only IN modern times if you will....the handling will feel very awesome I suppose. the immersion....oh my god....now I can finally understand how reviewers said it's overwhelming....I can see that now

That boat map is clearly the Alamo Sea or whatever it's called..... middle of Blaine County (see that orangey shape underneath, thats the park where Trevor lives)

 

We're at the top-right hand side of the lake here.... that's the lake shown in that crop duster screenshot.

 

Amazing how perfectly some of the maps got the shape of the lake 100% correct.

Hmm. The safehouse icon seems to coincide with the building near the shore. It looks like a warehouse, but maybe it has some kind of joint shack that you can sleep it. In fact... maybe it's a place where you plan heists? I'm guessing those areas have saving spots.

If it's exploded then it's missing so many details. I don't think that car exploded. It's just broken.

 

BTW, I like new cover system, players now can enter car while taking cover, that why it's a lower chance you'll get shot.

Anyone notice how smooth the loading is when customizing one of the protags? The clothes loaded right away. It was so slow in San Andreas.

I think its something similar to a chopshop/junkyard, because both the fron and back tire are like that. Not only that but the blue truck in the other shot seems to be missing its right side wheels as well. Speculation for me.

I love how the nights seems to be very dark you can't see anything. It's like RDR.

Not the bright nights like in GTA4.

Hmm can you not see the curvature of the windshield still intact though? or is it my eyes lol

 

Maybe the car was driven there and shot at etc.. ending up on a rim.

Can't be blown up. I think someone drove it there and someone else shot the tyre flat while driving and like in gta4 the tyre flew off. The windows are also shot to bits i think.

I dont think that huge warehouse is the safehouse on the map. The safehouse seems to be a little house exactly on the beach or coastline.
