I noticed we briefly got a glimpse of Michael & Franklin's Stats at the time

 

Yea what I don't get is why Franks stats are so low. Just because he's a newbie to the Robbery business. Doesn't mean he's a newbie to the banging. I mean he is a VETERAN GANGBANGER. His strength is so low when he's younger and more built then both of them. His is almost as same as Michael's. I kinda shooting, but stamina, strength. He should have more stamina then Trevor, considering he's a drug addict.

 

BTW Not hating on V. LOVE EVERYTHING about it. I guess my opinion doesn't matter considering it you can change the stats.

Ye I know what you mean, but they should just improve the GTA 4 driving, I like it because it was very realistic, maybe a little less harder, still this game looks just fking amazing, I hope the driving is better, at the end is just a video so we cant really say much unless we test the game with a controller or keyboard,whatever.

I definitely hate 0:38 scene. This "ridiculous" reminds me so much of Saints Row and that feels like GTA is dying in this scene. These customes are ruining much for me.

 

It has nothing to do with GTA imitating Saint's Row. That was simply a depiction of Hollywood blvd. which does have people in costumes doing weird things in real life.

I have this distinct memory that one of the preview articles mentioned about a fight that broke out between two cosplayers, of one of them beeing an Republican Space Marine (or whatever).

And they show'd us plenty of things that have been in on those articles.

 

So Audiophile;

Those are not the costumes you are looking for.

I told myself numerous times that I wouldn't watch the video.. Woke up today n it's the first video I watched.. Holy sh*t I loved every f*cking moment of it! Simply beautiful

The online play looks completely biblical.

 

The only tiny negative thing (and it's really minor one) that I can see from that is it's quite similar to GTAIV when you are at a height the buildings etc in the distance still appear to be loading which is slightly annoying. Obviously there is a lot of content to process during the game but thought they might have straightened that out a wee bit.

For the guy who said that the graphics look awful and it looks like a GTA clone,, GTA was never about the graphics and secondly,, it does not look bad. One thing that looked bad was the jetski moment,, the rest was gold

Actually, from GTA3 onward the graphics were what made GTA good. GTA3 was made to look as good as possible, also other installments, and then also GTA4 which looked incredible then. So don't say things you are not right about, because even the Houser brothers have told in an interview that graphics were a big part of the game, and have always been. And the graphics and textures are not up to current level anymore in GTA5, thats the harsh truth. Also these old consoles just can't be made to work out better graphics with this game. Next gen ones could and also PCs because next gen consoles and PCs are very similarly made as we know now.

That's your harsh opinion, not "truth". The graphics are indeed on par for a console game. They look great in my and many other people's opinion.

 

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion, we all have one, but to try to shut others down and pretend you opinion is "fact" or "truth"... arrogant.

 

The textures and overall graphics are superb for a current gen console.

The preview stated that they were performers to parody L.A.'s real life performers found in Hollywood.

 

 

There's a "crazy level of detail": Tourist buses can be boarded for a tour of celebrity homes, film posters are plastered on the walls, men in comedy costumes try to corner you outside the Cathay Theatre, including the Superman-like Impotent Rage and Master Chief riff, Space Ranger.

 

And even if it had been the protags, guess what? You don't have to wear the costumes. That's what I was saying.

I'm sure the 'Special' meter is something that runs out, but as for the others maybe they are something we can improve on? (with the gym at Vespucci Beach etc?)

(I can't even remember if this has been confirmed already [upgrading stats] as we have been treated to SO much info really lately)

 

The argument could be though: If you could just max out one character's stats, you would possibly only want to switch to another one if the game made you.
