Bellic 4 life Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 Alrighty, here's the background behind my idea: The setting of the game was originally going to be Liberty State, rather than just Liberty City, and it would have included countryside surrounding Liberty City, mountains based on the Adirondacks and Catskills, and possibly The Caraways. The article mentioned that there were three cities. First is Liberty City, next is possibly The Caraways and the last could be Carcer City mentioned as "nearby". That's from here: http://gta.wikia.com/Beta_Releases#Grand_Theft_Auto_IV My idea, is to go along with that. I rather liked the map for GTA IV, as I saw it as a quite faithful representation of NYC. So, that would be kept. However, in the vein of GTA V, we would add countryside, and maybe an extra city. The Carraways would be East of LC, with "rich" towns in between, while north of the city, we would have rurals areas, such as Schenectady County, or Cobleskill, both of Upstate NY. Images: The city which we all know and love. And now.... new territory. The Hamptons, stylized as the Carroways Imagine that to the east of the city, with the North being...... Towns like Cobleskill, NY As well as Schenectady But in the GTA universe. This all leads to a spectacular view....... IMHO, I would rather have this, than Vice City after V. I just think that this would be much more fun, but it's only my opinion. I'll write up theoretical story points after this, as I have many ideas going through my head right now. It'll be probably released for the PlayStation 5 and other consoles. The map would be all GTA cities together. LS + SF + LV + LC + VC.
