There's no need for a technology video though. This is their last game this gen on RAGE. This is exciting though! Are the floodgates of the marketing campaign opening? Very weird though that gameplay is coming before the site relaunch.

And finaly after Final Fantasy comes CoD. Between CoD and GTA are only a 10 million units in difference and with GTA V, the GTA franchise will be with a distance of 35 million more than CoD.

 

First place goes Mario Bros which the GTA franchise will never surpass but who cares.

Guys I don't know why there is a reason to not watch it, I believe what they're going to do is show it like RDR, no real spoilers, showing the HUD, the graphics... I don't see how the HUD is a spoiler.

It's not just the HUD, its everything in total. I have no interest in seeing a video of how the game is being played. I don't want to see the improvements and just everything in general in some video, I want to 'save' that for launch day, so i'll see it on my own tv for the first time. Watching a gameplay is gonna kill that element of surprise for me...not worth it.

It absolutely isn't worth it, and that annoys me, a lot. I watch the GTAV O'clock videos every week and I come to these forums a lot to manage the hype. I will simply not be able to avoid seeing the gameplay and it looks like the first time start up magic is going to be taken away. Sad.

Do it like me. Stay away from the forum for a few hours or for a full day. On Wednesday the hype will have eased down and chances of seeing the video posted again are small,because there will be a official thread for it. To make sure you really wont see a thing, you can follow Kirsty's tip and disable images on this forum. Something i'm definitely gonna do, just to be sure. And that way I can simply keep visiting this place. Cause it's exactly as you say, magic being taken away. I see it like that as well and thus I avoid it.

Indeed. For me, it doesn't spoil anything, it doesn't take the magic of first seeing and playing the game because at that time, it'll be myself actually doing it, watching the intro... It's not like they'll show the intro in the gameplay video. I actually think they won't show any missions, just some freeroam action!
