StateofMind15
Best: BF3 - Love the DAO-12, MK3A1, Saiga 12K (Though it sucks when it comes to response), M60, M249, MG36, AN-94, AEK, TDM, Noshar, End Game, Aftermath, B2K, the end game Dirtbike. I didn't really like the campaign though. What do you like about BF3 besides weapons and small maps? The Multiplayer, Teamwork, Weapon Sounds (Though I think the DAO-12 is enhanced from it's real counterpart), the Atmosphere. Pretty much everything except for the story really. lol teamwork in BF3? SweatyPa1ms
Firstly, I'm not factoring in SP titles such as Fallout and Portal. It'd be too hard so I'm just gonna talk about pure online "FPS" titles. Favourite... A tough choice but I'd have to say Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It's not perfect but it's the best online FPS experience I've ever had. I'd like to say Battlefield 3 but it's still not ready yet and Battlefield 4 is just around the corner. I have to give DICE credit for patching it so many times but they just can't get it right. If EA hadn't of rushed them to release it, it probably would have been a far better game. I honestly think if it was up to the developers they would be releasing it now instead of BF4. It was still a great game but any experienced FPS player can see it's full of minor and major errors. Lets hope BF4 is the game BF3 could and should have been. Wishful thinking with EA at the helm. Other notable mentions... CS 1.6 & Source, Delta Force 2, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Unreal Tournament ----- Hated... Call of Duty in any form. Not because it's a bad game, I used to play it myself and enjoy it. I grew out of it though when I discovered Battlefield and realised that CoD had become recycled, over-rated bullsh*t. I hate it because some of my good friends still f*cking play it when they could be playing something better and playing it with me. Haha . Flachbau
New list: Best: Modern Warfare 3 (better than BO2), Battlefield 3, BF: Bad Company 2 (fun times with all of these games) Worst: Black Ops 2 (was such a failure, made my respect for Treyarch disappear), Halo 4 (343i's worst, should of been Bungie that made it cause Bungie knows how to make Halo) Edited July 10, 2013 by Antagonista
na89340qv0n34b09q340
I haven't played many FPS games, mostly because I'm doodoo at them. The only ones I remember enough or have played enough to include are the CoD games. Best: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 - Had fun playing it. It was my first FPS of the HD generation, and I had a blast on multiplayer. Halo 2 would probably be here if I had played any more than a few times with my cousin. Worst: World at War - Multiplayer seemed to lag like hell, and there were no non-DLC multiplayer lobbies, you'd just get kicked if you didn't have the DLC. The campaign mode was also lacking compared to the series' other campaigns. One thing I hate about Call of Duty is that multiplayer is usually pretty formulaic. Someone in the community finds the best possible submachine/assault rifle combo and you're instantly overpowered. Snipers and shotgun users mix it up, but everyone else is shooting the same gun. (This was especially bad in Black Ops with the FAMAS.) It might be like that in a lot of FPSs though, I haven't played many, like I said.

Blame the commentators like xjawz, TmarTn, or even Ali-A (Matroix) on that. They find the sh*t out instantly like they've been playing it for days before the game even comes out. They probably get the COD's earlier some how and it's really unfair.
AmyJones
Favorite FPS is BF2 by far. next to that is call of duty world at war. Worst FPS game is probably the world is not enough for the playstation. next to that is COD for playstation 2. The first COD for pc is a glory to play yet the ps2 counterpart is a joke and should have never hit the shelf.

clockworkmechanicalman
I come from the Wolfenstein 3D and Doom era of PC gaming somewhere around the mid 90's, I also really liked Goldeneye on the N64. I played the sh*t out that game at friends houses during my high school years (I know I'll old), anways both the Doom, and Wolfenstein series looked and felt AMAZING on the original Xbox. So, I gotta go with Return to Castle Wolfenstein:Tides of War, and Doom 3. My least favorite is Halo. There...I said it. I never liked Halo, or Halo 2. Which well make most of you feel like this emoticon looks I just felt like I've seen it all before and that Halo in all honesty didn't reinvent the wheel here, instead they just gave it a new fancy coat of paint, I still don't have a 360, so I've yet to play what's new and on the table. So my fps options are limited to my original Xbox, and that's fine with me.

Got every title for it, completed all challenges for it legitimately. And because it's a good gun, people moan about it, and moan, and moan, and moan, until eventually it gets patched. And people do this with every popular gun, and it ends up with every gun feeling the same way.

Yes. I will admit that it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's great. Teammates alerting you of approaching enemies, support giving ammo, medic reviving and giving out health boxes, Recon spotting enemies and using MAVs to let us know where enemies are and much more.
