Both were done, I even sized them to properly fit in place with the last gen versions, did we seriously not upload those? 😂

Just checkd silent' first post, at elat VC (current GTA i'm playing) only has the PS3 and 360 icons and GTAGarage has the PS2/OXB icons. Also, any problem if I remake original Xbox buttons with the size of the 360/one controls (64x64 instead of 32x32)

Feel free, we always encourage alternate styles to be uploaded. As for the PS4 and Xbox One buttons, here's the link to them again (in case we didn't upload them or if the links were dead)...

Looking at it again, I think that maybe we can edit a bit the RT and LT of the Xbox One icons, they look a lot like the shoulder buttons

360 are like the real RT and LT, something in tat style with the Xbox One should look like this:

So-o... I've been playing samp with Ginput last 3 weeks, everything was fine. I installed some mods while playing, everything was fine too. Today i installed modloader and only two mods for shifting and handbraking anims. Now, Ginput seem to doesn't work in both X and D inputs... And if i try to remap anything, it doesn't help. Like the game doesn't see gamepad, while using joy.cpl i can see that gamepad giving commands to the pc. Can anyone help me fix that, please? Yes, i tried to move out modloader, nothing is changing. It was so nice exp with Ginput, i don't want to loose that :(

I know that GInput maybe wasn't made with SAMP in mind, but It kinda works, so
I have a question, on some SAMP servers, lets say for example, "Welcome to Los Santos 2 (singleplayer features)" you can appear a phone, and menus with the D-Pad, but then you can't move on them, you can accept and close the menus, but won't move up or down, Is there any way to fix this? If not, I'll understand, still, thanks for the mod, it works like a charm on singleplayer (even on menus) and most samp servers that don't require menus ^-^

This mod is fantastic, however I've been having some trouble, and I couldn't figure it out until a few minutes ago.

 

When I play with mouse and keyboard, and the camera is turned around (so you can see CJ's face), and I press RMB, it instantly aims where I, the player, is looking with the camera, rather than the direction CJ is facing.

 

This mod does the opposite, and seems to aim in whatever direction CJ is facing, rather than where I have turned the camera to. (So if I am looking behind CJ and see a target and press the button to target, suddenly the camera snaps forward where I, the player, wasn't even looking, if that makes sense.) 

 

I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance of this being fixed, or at least "toggleable". It's not a deal-breaker, but it seems really off to me the way it is.

I feel the same. Is there something I can do?

That's just one of the differences between keyboard and gamepad cameras, so unless KB/M now behaves like a gamepad (or vice versa) I don't intend to touch it.

i still use SAAC and i love it. but ginput would be cool to try.

Wanted to try out recently uploaded updated controller button images, but for some reason modloader is unable to load new ones, any ideas why this could happen?

GInput mod loads default files, and restricts to overwrite these? 

Not a problem, I can make a backup, an paste new ones, but strange behavior, because these are simple TXDs.

Believe me that when you get Ginput to work, you won't touch SAAC again

Just dropped in to say thank you for Ginput all involved. It has made my gaming experience 10x better.

I used to not mind playing GTA with mouse and keys, but since replaying GTA3 recently on PS4; I've wanted to keep it to the pad from now on.

Hey, Silent, thank you for your great mod and making gamepad controls great again in old gtas, but can you please port it for manhun 1 and possibly 2?

Manhunt 2 does not seem to support gamepad natively but i suspect that code still has hiddent support.

 

Manhunt 1 however does have half assed support, actually by hex editing settings file i managed to rebind buttons and axes for things you cant remap in game options and even made camera controls functional, plus bound start to pause and actually found few hidden feature binds you cant see in menu for keyboard or gamepad. But i still has to use xinput plus for fixing pov and triggers, and i dont remember exactlyy but i think menues still required keybm and also game  has unskipable launcher which you cant control with gamepad to start game and also there is a problem with lack of gamepad button prompts and their displayal in binds menu as generic dinput buttons. And also there is a typical pc port mistake - you bind button on one function then you want to bind it for another and game unbinds previous one and only lets you use button once.

 

Since Manhunt 1 share a lot of common code with San Andreas i think you can port ginput pretty easy for manhunt 1 (2 could be harder) and fix those annoying issues and allow to rebind all buttons natively in menu and display gamepad button prompts (i mean instead of using pre-defined schemes like you do for gta you can just improve native binds menu and use native game settings to store binds, add missing binds to menu, add xbox or ps2 icons, replace keybm buttons in tips, unlock multibinds, rebinds of all axes and ability to bind buttons and axes freely for anything, and fix triggers via xinput, skip launcher etc).
