Does no one else remember the elite pilots in freemode who would kill players over and over again for no reason just to be a**holes? It got worse with the buzzard of course but they would kill you even if you did not shoot back ( at first ) and send a pm asking to be left alone...Most did not... There was a long running event in the MP section on IV called air/ground war which I helped to spearhead and I have a feeling it will come to that again... I sometime believe that these people are like the God mode glitch in RDR. What I'm saying is its really hard to beat them ( If they are really good ) and a waste of time. They need something on ground to counter air craft on the game. A lock on Rocket with two missiles while all air craft get one flare. I think it balances out. You cannot strafe/circle in a jet? Have you ever played GTA San Andreas? You can do this easily. If you play on a console simply press the right analog stick and when the wheels come out you could hover/strafe/circle and maintain full control without sloppy movements. People making threads like these (which is essentially whining about being hunted by a prick in the online mode of a game) will only continue to make these so-called 'elite pilots' do what they do, and to be honest, it is rather amusing how much effect something so trivial can have on a person's psyche. Whenever it happens to me I either try to go on about my own business or try to get revenge and if it just so happens that it's an invincible hacker/modder then I select a new free mode game. That is true but in RDR you just do gang hideouts to get good weapons. Before I got decent weapons I died a lot by max levels. But once I got their weapons in was a more even playing field. We all start with nothing and we work our way. Gives the game more of a reason to play it. I like that way better then when you die you lose all your weapons and have to go find them. ugotsmoked Posted June 28, 2013 Author Share Posted June 28, 2013 I bet it wont be so easy this time with the minigun and hopefully faster moving rpg...If they can circle/strafe in a jet then it will be just as bad as the buzzard but if they give us stronger weapons it will help a lot. These elite pilots I am referring too are good enough that you get one shot, either sniper or rpg. If you get their aircraft smoking, they break formation, get health and come back. Here is one of the battles I was in way back in the day...And before anyone says anything yes the ground team was elite also...These pilots stay out the range of even the M4 if they know you are there... I have literally led a guy across half of Algonquin just running and biking down different alleyways, from one to the other. They get bored and start to harass you guys by the sounds of it. When someone attacks you in the chopper, it can turn into a pretty intense chase. But if you suck, or you're just going to give up and cry - than yeah, it's going to be boring. You're in free-mode, people can do whatever they want. You're in the world of Grand Theft Auto with other criminals, it's to be expected. Don't like it; join a game with Friendly Fire.
