AuSsIeThUnDeR36 Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 You need to buy a game recording device. You can get them from gaming shops or electronics stores. One end has the device with a USB that plugs into your pc and it will have 3 coloured ends, white and red which is the sound and yellow for the video. Plug those into the back of the tv. Install the software on your pc it should come on a cd. Load the program and turn on your console. Check to see if the game screen appears on the window of your pc. If it does then all good, hit record and if not, change the output on your tv so it comes up on your tv and sends signal to your pc via the game recorder device. Hope that has helped. Johan Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 If you're talking about a PC program Most of these you have to pay to use them, I listed the free ones though in case you needed them Fraps - Slows down your PC quite a bit when recording but one of the most popular recorders this decade in PC gaming Dxtory - Haven't used this one much but highly recommended by many others Camstudio - Free and doesn't slow down your PC as much Bandicam - Offers a trial, not a bad choice If you're talking about your PS3/360 then there's many recorders you can use, for HD quality you can choose products such as Hauppauge HD PVR, Blackmagic To set them up is a little bit complicated for beginners but there are tutorials around the web such as this Hope that helps!
