I could only play 6 hours max because I am at work for the whole day. That could change, though, if i went to the midnight launch with some of my mates.

One too many, that's for sure.

Probably about 3. That will be a combination of trying both single and multiplayer. icon14.gif

I will probably go to the midnight release, which is on a Tuesday I believe. Then I will play it until probably 4 a.m. Sleep for a couple of hours, take my ADHD medicine, go to school all day, then play it all the rest of the day. Same cycle till the weekend.

Since it's a schoolday I probably don't have time for more than 3-4 hours. Plus it is quite likely that I'm gonna install them to my harddrive too first.

Paper Mario

Let's see.. If I get my game at 12:00 then I have 6 hours until dinner time (18:00). Then after dinner I usually have an hour left. So unless I get my tiny tv from upstairs I will play for like 7 hours.

I'll get my copy through my door at ~10:30/11:30AM on release day.

I'll play for 10-12 hours if I don't have the 18th free. If I do then I'll keep playing for as long as I can stay awake, sleep, play for another stretch.

Once the weekend comes then I'll be playing from Friday night to Sunday night only taking short breaks for sleeping/eating or whatever else needs done.

I'll get it in the mail, drop it in, watch the opening credits and then go to bed.

Why won't you play it after that? How can you sustain yourself then?

I get home from lessons at around 5, so 6-8 if I'm planning on sleeping. And 8+ if I get some coffee and stay up all night.

I play GTA later than others since IV. I play on PC. San Andreas was my last console based GTA, but I broke out the slim a couple more times for the stories games as well, so I guess VCS was the last console GTA I played.

When IV first came out, I didn't get to play it, because for my own beliefs being that paying into closed and locked up architectures is stupid and counter to creativity, I never even considered buying a console ever since my PS2, which was really a GTA/R*games player box before I had a decent enough PC to play new games (new at the time).

Having had been able to see console players enjoy the launch and share their experiences with videos online, I spent a while already becoming acquainted with the game before ever even playing it. I purposefully avoided looking at the map layout or radar too much, went more for videos of free roaming and multiplayer than story missions and such to avoid spoilers of course, but still did watch a fair deal of the beginning portions of the game (broker arch), but not to spoil it for myself or because I wanted to see it, but more so that when I got my copy on PC, I could remember what I had already seen and then do it completely differently for myself, without having to spend the time on multiple replays of the game.

I did replay the game, 3 or 4 times I've been through the majority or beaten it, had a lot of fun in GTA IV. I think I had more fun than I would have if I had the opportunity to play it on launch, because I was able to see the "walkthrough/normal gameplay" version, and then take that knowledge and mess with the AI. Again, without being *forced* to replay the game I was already late to actually being able to play. I look at it like it saved some time for me, and as one of the more powerful experiences I've had with social gaming and sharing experiences in indirect ways (read:youtube gameplays)

Anyway, when I finally got my hands on my own copy on steam, I turned off auto save, played a 6 hour stint the first day, reloading and trying different things a few occasions, but mostly straight through broker, and had a blast seeing all the different ways the game handles myslef handing situations in different ways than it handled other players who played in other ways.

After a few sessions like that, I dropped off to about 1 or 2 hour sessions of one or two missions and some freeroaming each until I completed it my first time, but you have to understand, Modern Warfare 2 is very addictive. Anyhow, when I first get it, I'll probably have repeated this experience I had in IV for V, and so I totally forsee myself starting out at 3-6 hours per session, and then dropping it off to the shorter sessions - I like it, it let's me think on what Rockstar just presented me, each time.

I don't play MW2 nearly as much as I used to anymore, time constraints and all, trying to discipline myself more in the business sense, but even so, Call of Duty Ghosts will be out on all platforms new and old before GTA V is even officially announced and confirmed for PC by Rockstar, and it appears that Mark Rubin has his head somewhere outside of his ass on this game, and Glenn Schofield and his horse-like friend haven't shown up in the marketing yet, so I have high hopes for it. So we'll see. I'm sure at a minimal, I will split up my gaming time 50/50 between either MW2/V (if ghosts sucks) or Ghosts/MW2 50% and V 50% of the time. I don't get a lot of time for long sessions, and you gotta spend as much time as you can early on in cod to really be a top player in it, so it'll be a tough time for me in terms of gaming when V finally comes to the people's platform.

Non stop for 3-5 hours I think. Will take a short break, do some other things so that I don't completely lose my mind and then back to GTA v for a few more hours.

Depends on what time it arrives. I hope it comes in the morning so I can play it for a good 5 hours, otherwise, it's like 2 hours max.

I'm likely to do 6-8 hours. I'm not young anymore. With VC I was playing 10 hours. With SA I did 14 hours. With GTA 4 I did 9 hours. So seeing as I'm now 31 and will be one week shy of 32 when GTA V comes out, I'll probably be a little further down. I'm getting it at the midnight release, and I think it will be around 6 in the morning when I stop. Then sleep, wake up and play some more.
