Its a shame that(if your right) a game like call of duty which is pretty much the exact same sh*t every year gets so much hyped. Nothing is ever truly new not even with this new one called "ghost" looks impressive to me, and it's on the next gen. Gta is by far a greater game and the way I see it that it's well worth the money bc it lasts and doesn't need to come out every year to keep its hype. Call of Duty needs that and the consumers are the ones that constantly waste money buying them. Keeps this devs doing the same thing over and over again coz they see it sells like bread even though its the same sh*t over and over again. Gamers shouldn't buy these games every single year - this would cause the devs to change sth with developement time Rockstar Games is one of the only game developers left who care about their games and franchises and don't push for yearly entries - it doesn't make any sense, because if you deliver great games - they will be played for lots of years - for decades also (eg. DLC, preorder content, exclusives, online passes, game devs making sub-par games at full price, no support, bugs being ignored.... these make me sad that COD is such a 1337 awesomesauce bollocks whorefest - its a bit sad, that all these 12 year olds get the game bought for them and thats what makes it big. GTA, a game with sh*tloads of effort and detail, almost gets overlooked. It's like music: you got the mainstream stuff like this modern dubstep crap, and that's popular. Then you've got the ultra talented acts who, because they're not the same as everyone else, are overlooked. The former will always be the big earner, a la COD, but the latter, is way better. I'll stick with the latter knowing i'm getting the better deal Let the 12yearolds have their COD and chips. I'll be eating grilled Monkfish and mint&rosemary new potatos with homemade coleslaw on the side thank you very much The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
