How Will Gun Storage Work?

In GTA IV once we ran out of ammo Niko just threw the gun away. There was no method of storage. But since we can customize guns that mean we can save them? And will the storage system be like Saints Row where u can customize and save the guns at the gun shop and have them accessible at safehouses?

In various articles like GameInformer and other who have seen a demo of the gameplay have said that when you run out of ammo you keep your weapon.

 

Other articles have stated that the game will now feature a weapon wheel, like RDR had. So probably we now keep all of the weapons you find permanently and keep all weapon types with you like in Red Dead Redemption

that seems to be pretty convenient especially since apparently V will have the biggest weapon selection of all the GTAs

I want RDR style too. Because it's awesome to have every type.

What is preventing you from buying two guns and going in with just two guns? Maybe there could be a discard weapon button if you pick up a weapon you don't want so you can throw it away to preserve the "Challenge". But don't shove difficulty down my throat.

I hope you can store them in some way though. That way I can have a silenced and a regular version of a gun at the same time.

 

Store a silenced 9mm in a safehouse and go there to pull it out at the appropriate time.

I think it would be really neat if they have lockers or drawers or wé that act the same way as the trunks in gta iv.
