kjacked Posted June 28, 2013 Share Posted June 28, 2013 Please learn the difference between MODDING and HACKING. valid point. some of the pc mods are awesome. i wish somehow the same thing could be done with consoles as i am not a pc gamer. hacking though is the highest form of douchery. how is it even fun to play mp if you cant be killed? I guess they are fueled by everyone raging at them. I can't say that I played much multi in GTA IV but I am really looking forward to the multi in V. It sounds like R* is going to do something amazing with it, especially since we already know that crews will be returning in V. Would be a shame if it's ruined by hackers. I guess R* will deal with them the same way they "dealt" with them in MP3, they will simply throw them into a cheaters pool to play against other cheaters. Don't really see what else can be done unless there is some feature they can implement to detect that someone has a hack and they are auto-kicked from the match. throwing them all in the same room seems like the best way to deal with it. wonder what all those dipsh*ts do running around in multiplayer when everyone is invincible? ill bet thats fun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The hacker olympics.... lol i can only imagine. speaking of whic, what kind of hacks have you guys run into. i always run into some guy that can travel great distances very quickly and then he shoots a rocket at my feet standing right next to me and it blows me 100ft in the air yet he is fine and off to the next victim. SkylerArmor Posted June 28, 2013 Share Posted June 28, 2013 Would be nice if XBox Live actually started to give a **** about reports. ive been playin Gta tbogt with my girlfriend for some time and i havent seen any modders. i havent gotten my game froze once. i mean maybe there were a couple modders like the ones who spawn cars, bikes, trucks, etc and like make ramps appear and stuff like that, but to be quiet honest gtav is going to be alot more fun without modders. people think its fun in gtaiv bc they got nothing to do but kill, shoot, run, drive around. but in gtav theres going to be multiple things. im friends with 1 modder and me and him talk some. he spawns me a car when i need one and maaaaaaybe, sometimes lits the guy who killed me or/and him on fire xD but its all in fun. i mean as long as the modders cool, helps you out, and doesnt make it less fun.. than im alright. I bet he doesn't find it particularly amusing. well, i dont ever say "hey lit that guy on fire!" i mean it depends on his mood though. its not like "hey he shot me im going to set him on fire!" its more like the guy keeps killing him and other people with like a helicopter and a rocket launcher and that ruins the fun for everyone cuz no one likes being killed constantly by the same person right? you wouldnt wanna be spawned killed by a buzzard that just keeps killing you, having to find another session. thats what my friend usually does. hes a good modder though. he spawns helis for everyone, and doesnt freeze any games. too bad he got banned. so ya.. In the one or two games were a modder joined who spent his time spawning the vehicles that people wanted and creating ramps, I had a pretty good time. "Hey can I get a NRG?" Poof! If the structure is different (not using the same file for cars that they did for example) and without having the PC version as a road map, it could take some time for people to ruin it. Like others before me have said, hopefully Rockstar will do something about it this time though and get modders/hackers....ruiners forced to play with themselves. For the above reason I mentioned I hope a PC version does not come out, not to hate on the PC gamers, but to not give a blueprint to those who like to ruin. So because a minority will hack the game, you think it would be fine to disallow a large part of the fanbase a copy on the PC then? It does seem you want to hate on PC Gamers to me honestly. Just so people can't 'hack it' Anyway i give it a week max, then i will laugh just to show you don't need PC versions of the game to do it.
