Just played in cinematic mode with a few cut scenes here and there.. you have all seen gameplay footage..just not in the classic 3rd player HUD mode.. Yes with GTA, yes Yeah I knew I remembered one of the GTA's having a sort of gameplay video, they just took out the HUD and so on. But that being said it won't happen with V. It didn't happen for IV and it won't for V because the Housers stated they want the first time you play the game to be a fresh experience that you're seeing for the first time. Games that are releasing even next year have already shown people gameplay clips etc. Instead, Rockstar keeps giving out all these screenshots that barely show us anything except for a chunk of scenery or the character doing something in a shot. And even those only come out once in a while. Some of you might argue that they're trying to keep most of it a secret to surprise us or get us really excited about it and that it is a strategy but honestly this is just annoying me. I haven't heard of many games keeping things a secret only 2 months away from launch. I want to see how the game plays out etc. At least show a demo clip of a heist mission and how it will work out or something similar. In my opinion, doing this will get me even more excited for the game then keeping quiet and showing a few set up screenshots. I'm still an idiot? I followed the wait for San andreas when it was announced and I have seen the trailers that rockstar released. The trailers where in game but not "GAMEPLAY". Do you know what gameplay is? It's when the actual game is playing and you see someone playing it. Rockstar has never done that! Just ingame shots in cinimatic view. Rockstargames is very quitet about the Grand theft auto franchise and have never shown the actual game before release. So no they haven't shown gameplay with GTA. It makes the excitement much better too, in my opinion. Just be patient, there's only 2 more months. 2 months that will be filled with info and screens and whatnot. GAMEPLAY. VIDEOS. So no I'm not disappointed. I prefer it this way. I can wait until I actually play it. Not seeing it creates a bit more hype and excitement. We don't need to see gameplay because if you have actually played a GTA game before then you know what it's like. I bet most of the people whining about no gameplay would be the ones complaining if there was a gameplay video that graphix suck or they don't like the mini map or how switching works. Yeah they don't release videos of proper gameplay with the camera in 3rd person and with the HUD/map visible. Parts of the trailer, like you said, are made from gameplay. Pretty much all the scenes with characters talking to each other are from cutscenes but a good chunk is from gameplay but just different camera angles and no visible HUD/map. Loading it up. Seeing the GTA V logo. Rockstar logos. Watching the artwork as the game loads. The black screen....then the intro! Once that ends we'll be dropped into gameplay.
