Fallout3 Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 GTA V is almost about 2 months away and we have yet to see any gameplay. Games that are releasing even next year have already shown people gameplay clips etc. Instead, Rockstar keeps giving out all these screenshots that barely show us anything except for a chunk of scenery or the character doing something in a shot. And even those only come out once in a while. Some of you might argue that they're trying to keep most of it a secret to surprise us or get us really excited about it and that it is a strategy but honestly this is just annoying me. I haven't heard of many games keeping things a secret only 2 months away from launch. I want to see how the game plays out etc. At least show a demo clip of a heist mission and how it will work out or something similar. In my opinion, doing this will get me even more excited for the game then keeping quiet and showing a few set up screenshots. It's all part of what one of the Housers said about the first time you turn on the game, they want it to be the first time you truly experience the world for yourself. It may feel like it sucks right now but trust me once you pop in that disc and see it for yourself for the first time...it will be amazing. To be fair, there have been gameplay videos in the past - I think either of III or SA - but for the previous titles they no longer do this to maintain the feeling of you experiencing it all for yourself the first time you play. Im actually amazed at the amount of people that are surprised that there is no gameplay before its out.... The fact of the matter is, we won't see any solid gameplay until Sept. 17, (unless of course you find someone streaming gameplay which got it a few days prior to release). Really we are only 2 1/2 months away from release.. that's nothing in comparison to the 20 months we've already waited. Stopped reading there because I assume the rest of your post is crying. You said it yourself in two months or so the game will be out so honestly I'd be quite happy if we get no more info between now and release. I'd rather know less and be surprised when I play the game than know everything and feel I've beat the game before I've even bought it. To many devs shoot there load way to soon.
