Yes. Sci-fi doesn't need to be in the future. Steampunk for example is sci-fi.

Ironically, that page does mention what was going to be a spiritual successor to The Warriors which was supposedly set in 1960s England and focused on the Mods and Rockers brawls during that period. I'd like to see that game get made.

To be honest, for some unexplainable reason, whenever I heard the name Warriors be it about the movie or the game, I think London. I don't know why, I just do. So to me, playing Warriors was like it was set there already.

 

Too bad about the sequel but guess they had their eyes set on other games at the time.

London, like New York, is a city that represents something - With Rockstar being British in origin why shouldn't they spin something about this city at a pivotal point in its history?

I said SOD was a great idea, so that means I have some respect for it, but it's a fact that the game is very much unpolished on the technical side, animations, physics and such feel unfinished and Rockstar always makes sure it all works great before shipping the game. So that was my whole point.

If you are the first three options are irrelevant as well as FPS maybe...

 

The fighting system needs work. Maybe not tech like mortal kombat but we should be able to enter a fight mode where we can use button combos and have a range of moves as well as counters. For MP this would mean Melee fighters have an advantage and its not so useless.

 

The shooting system also needs work but from what we've heard so far it sounds as if they've done a better job this time round. Same goes for driving.

 

Finally RPG should feature more its not for everyone so should definitely be more optional than mandatory but its my opinion that this will give the game more longevity but more importantly players more choice in how they want to play and create the world for themselves.

 

I'm not voting since I feel the poll is flawed somewhat but if I did I would choose fighting.

I'm sure if the developers of SOD had 100 million dollars it would have been much better, and state of decay was only allowed to be 2 gigabytes because it was an XBOX Live arcade game. But yeah i'm not really a fan of state of decay.

It matters less when it's a GAME. Where gameplay is the most important thing. And gameplay in this game is very good.

 

This game contains a lot of creative ideas, things and all your polished conveyer best-selling games can't match it.

 

Because State of Decay is based on ideas, on the desire to create a good game. All this with a small budget.

 

And most of the modern games are polished, but boring, similar, conveyer bullsh*t, with COD-style staging(pseudo-epic where everything explodes and falls) and with only purpose - to get as much money from you as possible.
