iHaveAGTAddiction
What kind of weapons (if any) would you guys want to see when we dive underwater? Since there is scuba diving equipment in some boats than why not add a harpoon in some boats as well? There are sharks that are threatening enough to have their own 'dots' on the radar that could pose a great deal of danger if provoked so obviously we need something to defend ourselves. We could stab the sharks with the harpoon if we are seconds away from being attacked and when doing so there could be a cool cloud of blood from the shark being stabbed and slowly going up to the surface. We could also use the harpoon on other divers as well. If they are closing in on the treasure than that could be enough to stop them. Stab em right through the chest and the treasure is yours. (Seriously, we need a weapon. Who would fight a shark with fists?) lol

jordanpumah
a couple guns that fire underwater do exist, HK P11, SPP 1, ASM DT, APS, but most of these are russian, or in the case of the HK, extremely hard to find, and bullets for it are even harder. claude mc
a remote control monkey to knock people into submission where you could arrest them and send them to an underwater cave populated by mermaids
Leafy Hollow
You will probably be very limited underwater besides maybe a knife and a harpoon. Maybe a gun if your nice.
Gigabomber
Imagine the outcry if there are NO underwater guns...Many modern weapons function under the sea, albeit with very limited range/power, but come on.
Patriot_Action
Unless there's some kind of specialized weapons (e.g., harpoon, although I think that's silly), I doubt it. I think it's safe to assume most of the firearms in the game will be "traditional" in the sense that their real-life counterparts (or inspirations) either don't fire at all underwater, or would be so ineffective as a weapon that you'd be better off beating something to death with the gun. wwinterj
Unless there's some kind of specialized weapons (e.g., harpoon, although I think that's silly), I doubt it. Why do you think Harpoons are silly? Fisherman use these things to catch fish and what not. I think, depending what boat you get your scuba gear from it's very much possible and realistic to have a harpoon.
whatnow
they confirmed hunting, so I would like to see a simple spear-gun for underwater.
_L1pE_
The FIB will supply us with this: (I've posted this image so many times now) EDIT: Nvm, this one is the rifle configured for out of the water use, still, it's the same rifle. The ADS Amphibious rifle, and with just a mag change we can use it out of the water too.
