Wuggatus
We have seen in GTA TBoGT different car model for the Faggio and Shafter Faggio: Shafter: Do you think their will be more? And what older models would you like?
Input
I think it would be awesome. Like, the '12 Buffalo and like an '88 Buffalo styled after the GTA SA one. Real good variety.
SeaFoam
I always thought it would be a pretty cool idea. The only question I have is, would you want the year displayed in the car title as it pops up (as you get in it) or not?
Guest
That's kinda already been done with some vehicles, but R* put them under different names. For example the Vigero resembles a '69 Camaro, but the Ruiner resembles an '82 Camaro. But it would be nice to see older cars remastered. Instead of just the GTA4 Sultan, there should also be the 90s Sultan. But in some areas this wouldn't work. In Vice City the Banshee was based off a Corvette C4, but in GTA4 the Coquette was based off a Corvette C5/C6. See how this clashes? Although tbh I think R* messed it all up when they made the Banshee a C4. It's unrealistic how a C4 could evolve into a completely different body shape, that being the shape of a Viper. As I said in the first post, the 1984 Banshee could not evolve into the 2001-present Banshee. The body shapes are too different.

That's what I think as well, but since the '84 Banshee was based on a C-4 to begin with then wouldn't it be more logical that a C-4 inspired car in the "HD" Universe would be branded a Coquette rather than a Banshee? I thought the Ruiner resembled the 80s Firebird trans am but that just must be me Well, the Ruiner is mainly based on the GM F-body platform which supported both the Camaro and Firebird at the time so no, it's not just you. R* have kept car designs through both universes, so it'd still be inconsistent. Unless R* clean up their mess and do a whole revamp on car brands, that'd be good, lol. Sneakerhead.
I for one would love it if there was a 1992 Infernus, and a 2008 Infernus, a Diablo and Murcielago. Hell, why not throw in a '66 Infernus (I think Miura is already in) and a '86 Infernus?

That's not an absolute truth, the Perennial went from a mid 60's station wagon to a common day Japanese Minivan and the Emperor went from a Early 90's japanese Sedan to a 70's Cadillac. Anyway, I think that the Brand set up they have now is good, though not 100% perfect as highlighted by such inconsistancies as the Coquette having it's own Manufacturer and the lack of a real life Equivalent to the Zirconium brand. Input
I think you might be over thinking this a bit. So what if the Banshee is a Viper now, and a Corvette then.. I think I would be more mad if they changed the 80's Banshee into an 80's Coquette because now it's like the 80's Banshee didn't even exist. To stay true to the lore of the game I think that they should carry over the same names and brands.

SuarezEvra
Jeeez, this is getting ridiculous, yes i totally love the idea of new and old models of the same name.. Yes they messed up the banshee consistency but so what! Forget it n stop bickering n quoting n requoting.. Its a pointless debate IMO... R* can design wateva cars they want n keep in mind they tend to mix the design of difrent cars into one so consistency can be thrown out the window.. R* could n should bring some older models along with new, maybe not with every car but many as they can n youkno what i think..? They should leave the banshee a viper as it mostly has been.. The coquette a corvette n not make any old models of those two.. Problem solved..... I dnt think i realised there was two schafters n two faggios in TBOGT lol

Kind of like how in only 10 years worth of time this, couldn't turn into this because that'd be unrealistically impossible right?
