B7R
I'm a little worried about my PS3. I just got home from school and it says I have to do the 4.46 update. After what happend on 4.45. i'm a little worried something like that will happen again. I can't afford another PS3 so i'm stuck with only 1 unit and I don't want to brick it. Any advice or tips on weather i should upgrade for wait for more info on it.
Fozzy Fozborne
I updated my PS3 (slim 120GB, got it right when the slims were announced) to 4.46 and it works perfectly fine. Sony recently released a guide on how to fix consoles affected by 4.45 and fixed the problem with 4.46.
Spuds725
What were the issues with 4.45? I didn't notice any issues.... I have a fat 80 GB backwards compatible to ps2 games... But recently replaced the original hard drive with a 500 gb one. Been working like a champ for 4 years //EDIT// Boy I sure screwed the pooch with the above statement--- less then 3 hours after posting that last night-- I got the RLOD--- just got done taking it apart so I could remove the blue ray drive-- open that up and get my Assassins Creed 3 disk out of the machine-- would not stay running long enough to eject the disk (even tried the fan test trick). Bought a new 250 GB slim model this afternoon-- Uncharted 3 Bundle.
