Adriaan
The original topic on GTAForums got locked because Ryan thought the OP stole it off the site, even though his name was on it. He told me the name was added after. He just missed it. Their bot always adds names from the topics it copies from here. http://gawdalmighty.com/gta-v-ending-death...ead-characters/ http://gawdalmighty.com/gta-v-syrian-civil...-spring-parody/

Adriaan
Oh I see. So we can confidently say this source is bullsh*t, right? I linked the original topic in the post you quoted earlier. And the OP recreated the topic verbatim later on. It's not bullsh*t as it's all just speculation. You don't need me to tell you that.
Deffpony
Thats pretty f*cked up that the site grabs well thought out speculation from the forums and makes articles out of it. At least the credit the members names though

Or was that article on that website written by him, because it does have his name on the article.

The website copy/paste articles written on discussion boards (i.e. http://gawdalmighty.com/gta-5-gameplay-release-excited/) Can't believe people are being paid for this kind of stuff. burner12
I'm thinking either this friday or next week. Friday does follow the pattern, but imo R* knows that we've seen the pattern. So maybe they'll alter it, or keep to it.
Gnocchi Flip Flops
Being slightly pessimistic, I can't imagine them launching GTA V's official website anytime soon. Maybe they'll launch it in late July or August, but June?
Magic_Al
Days between official site (re-)launch and game release: Max Payne 3: 103 days L.A. With 65 days being the latest they've ever launched an official website, and we're at 82, that means in theory we should see something within those 17 days - so a web launch within the next 2 weeks - which sounds about right with what everyone is speculating. Josh410
July it is then! No, Watch Dogs is releasing something friday. Rockstar could try to steal its show by releasing the website or multiplayer info. I wouldn't rule out july just yet.
lazloisdavrock
Its not interactive nor really informative like the flash based sites for their games. Look at GTAIV's website. Map and everything.

MrP4nc4ke
Well IV's website had a - Outline of the overall map, with areas you could click and it expanded upon the locations with info via videos or screenshots - had info via screens/text/videos on people - info on websites etc - recreation and entertainment - you could preview radio stations - goods and services Check out the old IV site to see. Wow, I actually had never visited IV website before, and I have to say that's a whole lot of material they put out. Obviously there's some TLatD & TBoGT stuff there now, but still... If they do something similar with V, I hope they keep the game well under wraps as they have until now. I'm fine with hype building screens & trailers, but I certainly don't want spoilers. For example, those side character trailers on IV page was a tad too much. Also, the map outline... I don't know... kinda kills some of the thrill of exploration. Sure, it's possible to log off the internet until release, but I don't think I'll be able to resist at this point. Couple of weeks before 17th I'm outa here for sure. Magic_Al
was this the original site for gta 4 ? http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/#?page=people No, I don't remember exactly what it looked like, but when a game is announced a temporary "splash page" site goes up with little more than a logo (like this one) and then without getting too fancy with design they add released info to that single page (though the GTAV site has a couple pages by now because it was getting too cluttered). Eventually it gets entirely replaced with a flashier permanent website. Past sites have used Flash for animated presentation but nowadays they'll probably use HTML5 like the Max Payne 3 site.
