Crumplet
In previous GTA titles, it's always rewarded the player to commit crimes, obviously, but there's never been that much of a realistic light shed on the things the character does, and the ripple effect that can have. Recently I watched "The Place Beyond The Pines" and without spoiling anything, this movie dwells into the ripple effects of crime, and how one screw up or one action can have a drastic effect on multiple peoples' lives over the course of years and years, and it made me think about how I've never really seen that kind of concept in a game. You go and shoot up a restaurant to assassinate a target, what about the people having dinner during the event? The owner of the establishment, or even the co-workers who knew the man you killed there? What if R* actually worked on this idea and showed multiple perspectives of crime? To me, it's even rather possible that Michael, Franklin & Trevor could be made out to be the antagonists at some points and the police officers trying to stop them to actually be good, because in reality, the police officers are simply trying to put away criminals, you just happen to be attached to these criminals and relate to them, For once, the main officers trying to hunt you down could actually be thought out, layered and complex characters as opposed to crooked pricks, and if/when you kill them, it'd be a mixture of relief because Michael, Franklin & Trevor are safe and sadness because the officers weren't bad people at all. What do you guys think, could this work for V?
