kingcs
Thanks for the link, Ferocious. Ignore the first couple of posts. I enjoy reading different gaming journalists previews. This one was nice and detailed. Also, with purchasing property, it said something about upgrading property. I'm probably reading too much into it tho. KrushLTx10
Nice! Ryder is in the game in spirit lol. I can not wait to see the soundtrack of the game. If that song is in, this soundtrack is going to be absolutely perfect. As for the driving it's a very good sign. I just don't understand why people defend IV's driving. It had some flaws and R* simply won't go back to the old arcade way. They're just going to make sure the regular cars don't drive like boats and improve how the better cars handle too. Don't worry man.
Lil ski
Thanks for the link OP Any new preview is a good preview. It's good reading another publication no matter if its the same demo because there could be left out info or small details that weren't explained enough. Keep these previews coming! MosquitoSmasher
I guess this at least puts the "MCLA driving physics in GTAV: (" arguments to rest. Exactly man. Last time i played MC:LA i didn't see any cars shifting weight or behave realistically when going over bumps, it was just ridiculous really. I guess it was fine for the type of game, but not for a GTA game. This sounds exactly what i wanted to hear.

nkjellman
Realistic bumps in the road sounds good. In GTA IV sometimes there were bumps in the road that would cause motorcycles to flip up in the air if going fast.

Dan Houser said that it would be more like high level racing games. And Edge said it would be like GTA IV, but a little more forgiving, that sounds in no way like MCLA to me. Only that one previewer said it 'looked almost as good as MCLA' .
Distrom
this was actually a really good preview. detailed. Yep. Easily better than IGN's. The guy who made the preview sounded interested to deliver a well explained preview, something IGN doesn't do, at least with GTA V.

sublimelabs
"Trevor staggers to his feet and a few more new little touches appear. The character animations are phenomenal and change realistically based on the terrain and ascend/decline. Niko’s weird slanted walk is nowhere to be seen. Trevor also leaves footprints on the sand as he walks around; attention to detail you wouldn’t usually expect from a current-gen open-world game." Nice to hear a comment on the animations, for once. So excited to see it in action.
FAH-Q
Isn't it kind of silly to have songs on the demo that might not be in the final version, especially when the reviewers note them?
Official General
Whats the news only the "The way cars shifted weight and momentum and behaved over bumps looked quite realistic." .. and for the rest its the same Looool For real OP is that it ? Come on, there was no need to create a whole thread for just that. I read the preview, it;s the same as the others that came about. However I do hope that MC Eiht track is in the game, what a song, that is some classic West Coast rap Edited June 27, 2013 by Official General

Cyfa
Go to trailer 1 and watch when Franklin is in the red sports car driving away from cops and watch how he makes a turn while still accelerating. You could sort of do that in IV but the wheels wouldn't be aligned with the car, and in MCLA it would just look goofy and very arcade-ish. The driving in IV was perfect except for the tires that didn't stick to the road (by that I mean a good turning radius) and what has Houser emphasized on about the driving in V, "The wheels will stick to the ground better." Nothing to fear, folks.

Let's just delete every single thread from the news section but the ' GTAV official info' thread. People don't want any new info anyway. News threads like this are much more informative and discussion instigating too. ____________ @Cyfa Even though the physics of the crash looked iffy, the suspension was working well in that clip. I think the handling will be better than even the "realistic handling " mod for GTAIV - it wasn't radically different, but pretty noticeable. Miss Darko
It's good to hear some specifics on the driving, which few previews have bothered to describe. I won't give the previews too much flak because they could only see the driving, and weren't actually handling the controller to really get a feel for it, but some impressions are nice. Magic_Al
Isn't it kind of silly to have songs on the demo that might not be in the final version, especially when the reviewers note them? Music licensing can fall apart over money or other disagreements, or Rockstar can decide a song they like doesn't fit after all. The list of songs cut from GTAIV/EFLC is bigger than the whole GTA3 soundtrack!
BUT THE BENZ
a good read for sure.
