MrSpooge
333,000+ isn't very impressive. I would expect more pre-orders considering Call of Duty and Halo topped 800,000+ before they released. "USA Pre-oder chart" Doesn't make a difference. Your kidding right? Here "WAS" the Preorder Chart for US Only for Halo 4 - 297,742. So it's beat Halo 4. You silly man. It is wrong, Diablo 3 has been released for ages. False. + There is no way a new IP like Watch Dogs is above GTA. Not in a 1000 Years.
Nun0567
Wrong, if you actually read the article the GTA V preorders havent been updated since e3.
GTAaLEX117
Wrong, if you actually read the article the GTA V preorders havent been updated since e3. Actually, it's the sales made since E3, which represents no more than 25% of GTAV's total sales (up until the point that I calculated this, now it's probably more). GTAaLEX117
Sorry for necro-bumping this thread again, but V just beat it's pre-order record by 4000. Apparently last week it got 65724 preorders on the xbox and 40877 on the ps3. It's now 41926 shy of one million! At this rate it's going to surpass one million by the end of the week. TheRealBars
VGchartz is unreliable at its best. It only collects numbers from a select amount of retailers and rarely includes the 1st and 2nd party sales (PSN Digital Downloads, Microsoft store physical copies and Rockstar Warehouse in this case) Not to mention they usually don't count from the beginning of the pre-order availability. I don't know about where they collect their numbers, but for V they started counting sometime between 17-24th of November 2012.
