RedDagger
Off topic, but initially I thought BF4 outpacing CoD was interesting, then I realised that a higher percentage of CoD players are too 'casual' to pre-order a game, whereas BF4 has the more 'hardcore' fanbase that would have more people pre-ordering. OT: I want to see this stay, with GTA V being the best-selling game of 2013. Wonder how next-gen will affect this, with some people weirdly only wanting next-gen games. Lock n' Stock
I remember that bastard "IntelligentCodFanboy" made a video showing COD: Ghosts to be the top of the pre-order list. EMoney120
333,000+ isn't very impressive. I would expect more pre-orders considering Call of Duty and Halo topped 800,000+ before they released.

UncleVlad
Why does Xbox sell more Because it's a USA chart, not an international one. Yes, Xbox has a bigger fanbase in America. Whereas PS3 is popular in Asia and Europe. If it was international, I bet the PS3 would have more pre-orders.

"USA Pre-oder chart" Doesn't make a difference. How the hell it doesn't make a difference ? GTA has a huge international fanbase , dare i say better than COD and Halo and there's still time for the pre-orders to increase by the time the game is released . Keep in mind marketing hasn't really started yet. It'll be getting 200k+ pre-orders a week (per platform) in the final few weeks before release. Look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, for example: http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/41224/USA/ Also, it's worth noting that VGChartz is basically a prediction website. None of these numbers are official and they could be significantly higher or lower than they're listed.
Fail_At_GTA
Why does Xbox sell more More people own an Xbox 360 in the USA than a PS3. Its only logical for more Xbox owners to pre-order it. However, it is most likely the same percentage for both consoles. The PS3 is a more international system. IveGotNoValues
Its a wonder people are still buying the same old COD game every year. I swear nothing changes about those games except new maps and slightly upgraded weapons. It shouldn't even be on this list. GTA actually deserves to be number one on lists like these because its a quality game, worth spending your hard earned cash on, and it only comes around once every 5 years anyway. wwinterj
Good to see Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 remix is doing well in the USA only it obviously will sell a lot more in Japan. I've not even made a pre order yet for the normal edition of GTA V but will do at the start of September. Less chance of a delay then and more chance of some cheap deals emerging.
