Such a shame to know that the Forum is made up of pre-pubescant squeakers that can't even legally purchase the game.

Please leave, you cancerous little spits of sh*t.

It's sad to think that the "pre-pubescant squeakers" are being more mature than you are right now.

Question for the other adults: Growing up did your parents tell you that "videogames were bad and that you wouldn't have time for them when you're older" because mine did

25 now, 26 by the time the game comes out. About to jump up another category in age.

It's quite interesting how a lot of people in this section are over 18.  No disrespect to anyone, but you often get people complaining about the kids, when it turns out they aren't actually kids.

I'm 24.

Indeed, well said

Mister Pink

Nice to know that there are a good few over 30's and over 40's. Not quite 30 myself yet. Still some time to go but sometimes it feels like everyone is a teenager here! No offence to teenagers! biggrin.gif

Yep. Ironically Mom bought us the Nintendo when it first came out. If she only knew what it would do to us.

18 in November.

Looks like there isn't a category for me, seeing as >18 means older than 18. Nice one OP.

nah, i'd pitch the "hand-eye coordination" argument at them

and playing videogames has made stuff like operating an 80' telescopic boom at work like cake

I'm 14, but I feel age shouldn't really be something to judge a person on. Sure, age is a decent way to guess one's actions at first glance, but I feel there is general misconception that age and maturity are the same thing. If someone is say 14, like me, yet they have a higher maturity allowing them to fit in with older crowds, what's the deal?

A 30 year old may look suspicious hanging out with a 14 year old unless he was his brother...

I meant to mention online, not literally hanging out with people in person. That's what's new with the internet. You get people who seem completely different, who would never hang out in real life, able to actually have conversations about a common interest.

Now imagine what would be possible if people were to discuss and talk about politics/philosophy/mankind, and not "games". I know it'd be a pain the ass and that talking GTA or whatever is much more fun, just sayin. internet is big and mighty

Not sure if that's suppose to be a jab or whatnot, but this isn't my point. I mentioned talking about a common interest, in this case video games, and not politics. I do actually understand a fair bit of politics, but I nowhere near have enough life experience and insight on it to talk with confidence.

no criticism, I was just thinkin how people who're quite different, never met and think of each others as idiots for their political views or whatever could find common grounds when they simply talked to each other. and the internet gives both of them this platform. not a jab at you at all, I was just thinking out loud I guess. I agree with you in that a common interest is something valuable, and no age/religion/color or whatever "difference" should be in the way of communication there. that's just bullsh*t the media and propaganda has laid upon us over centuries. diversity is adding depth and scope.

i have a strong feeling people would choose their words more wisely if these conversations took place in person.

That's because in the real world social factors and age would play a roll, it's just how the world works.

People ask questions, but never answer it themselves from the beginning.

Just to answer the question, I am 13 years old. Will be 14 on September 22nd (5 days after GTA V's release date).

19. Waiting to turn 20 so I can buy liquor.

Where do you live then? Here you can already buy booze at the age of 16.
