D3ADSH0T
Please guys, this is my first topic I'm starting. Remember when Rockstar said that they won't be attending E3 this year like they always do,and that they will rather have a fun marketing instead. So when's this marketing gonna pop up? I know there's still 2 months before the game comes out but still. Be nice guys.

7REW7
As R* would say soon. Yah, they even said very soon. Here's what I think the market has already started, this no news stage of the marketing is R* way of toying with us. I bet someone in the marketing department comes to there forums just to laugh at us going mad.

FAH-Q
Whenever it is, it is definitely creeping up, we know that much. There is only about under 3 months before the game comes out. I say they will start belting it out mid to late July. Just think, UNDER 3 MONTHS AWAY!!! The marketing is just a plus. ^^^WHEN YOU LIVE IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!! voltaire
It's a pretty crappy state of affairs, other gamers who are fans of other franchises got a giant info/screenshot/gameplay/trailer blow-out at E3 and what do GTA fans get? A few screenshots that Sony happen to be using as set decoration for their presentation. Why does Rockstar hate their audience so much...well, not their audience's wallets obviously? It's the complete opposite. When you play the game, you'll have so much to do and discover since very little were shown. On the other hand, other companies show so much of their games prior to the release that you don't get any surprises playing them, even compromising replayability. I've played games and then been able to proceed through areas I've gotten stuck in because I remembered exactly what the developer did in the walkthrough preview of the same area. Like with The Last of Us that entire Pittsburgh section was spoiled for me because that's what they showed in previews. The same's going to happen with Watch Dogs and Assasin's Creed 4 but that doesn't change the fact that I at least want another written preview. Lets put Rockstars' "we're so brilliant we don't need E3" attitude to the side and remember that fans are still fans. At least these other companies have shown some of their stuff off... we've got f*ck all. Thanks Rockstar, you really know how to make a fan happy... NOT. vivalavendredi
It'll get here when it gets here, whats the rush? nah justa askin, coz they said very soon. "very soon" means in R*-language "when we want to… maybe never. we don't know what we do when it comes to marketing but you'll buy our game even without us doing anything. and when we do marketing, we never ask our developers how far in developing they are. we just give you a date and see if they can hold the deadline. well, you know how it is… " Sad thing is - my above text isn't this far from the truth. As were discussed a long time ago, I think Rockstar announced the game too early, and brought frustration along with the hype, slightly compromising their marketing strategy. Should they had announced the game in October 2012 instead of 2011, the info we got would have been released more constantly, thus minimizing frustration. The thing is they could release the same kinda screens just to give us something! They wouldn't be giving any secrets away if they kept the screens to what we know already. A few more angles of the vehicles we know or a 3D see through image of a single vehicle or weapon. Something. Its like a bloody desert and I'm thirsty I tell ta. They don't need to give us more info (some WOULD be nice yes) but cmoooon lol

Thats what WE think when in reality, R* dont really give a crap about the fans since they know we're going to buy the game... We just ''fool'' ourselves into thinking that R* never give new trailers and info to the fans because ''they don't want to spoil the game for us''. Thats just the way i see it
