Andreas
I don't have a job, but I'm in a vocational high school and I specialize in electrical engineering. I have passed the first year of it, and three years are left. I have to work four weeks in total in a company that is related to my field, and that within the next three years, in order to finish the school. I got a job once doing basically the exact same thing, and them places are literally freezing (Obvious as it sounds) The one i went to was kept at around -4 without fail. Not currently working, just about to finish my first year in college studying Psychology, Sociology, ICT and Law. Going to look for a part time job over the summer months to carry on with next year; just something small like a shop job or something, just so I can afford to keep fueling my car. Hand to customer Step 4. Get manager Step 3. Repeat step 3 and four until you run out then go back to step 1.
The Hippie
Well I've been out of highschool since June 2012. Finally got a job a little over a month ago. It's funny you guys mentioned freezer jobs, that's basically all I do. I work at an ice cream warehouse. Unloading and loading tubs of ice cream all day. Probably spend most of my day in the freezers too. It's miserable. These freezers are kept at about -20 to -25 degrees celsius. Paid minimum wage, but luckily it's only seasonal work. Everyday, I'm contemplating quitting. One thing that I took away from this experience, I realised I do not want to be doing anything similar to this kind of work for the rest of my life. I better find something that I want to take in college. But, I just don't know what to take yet. I want to find a career that I'll enjoy and hopefully it leads me to California.
