Mig10
To be delayed, only for distributing reasons.
GoldenBlade
I'm led to believe that the release date is correct this time. If it was to be delayed again, I would be on the news for starting a riot.

IveGotNoValues
I wouldn't worry about it at all. The full on marketing will probably begin in July and all these people who believe in a delay will see the truth.
rjmthe2nd
It won't be delayed again. At least that's what I want to believe If they do, it won't be more than a month. If anything, a few weeks at best. in Rockstars Lingo: " 2 more years".
Raavi
Because it's Rockstar & they aren't afraid to disappoint fans & shareholders alike. Shareholders don't give a rats ass about the actually quality. They only care about sales and the revenue generated through said sales. GTA V will sell more without another delay thus making it much more lucrative to release it on September 17th, as planned. But, better quality equals better sales, so why wouldn't they care about the quality of the product they have stock in? That doesn't seem too assanine to me. That's a utopian scenario. Just look at a series like Call Of Duty, their sales keep steady and up there, while it from a creative and developmental point of view simply isn't good nor innovating. So, no better quality doesn't equal more sales. In the end it's just a product and people will move on (not buy it = less sales) if they have to wait too long. Especially with the next best thing in the offing. Rockstar is obliged to release it on September 17th. – overeducated wonk who fetishises compromise
Above
Because Rockstar always delay GTA games close to their release.
ZuParadox
This is basic marketing, we all get worried about the game being delayed etc and then when we're least expecting it, wham, theres some new information that even if its not that good, will keep us happy and have everyone buzzing cos the 17th Sep release date is still on course. Johan
So they won't cry over it if it happens again which is a 1% possibility out of a
BattleExel
I think that we will be suprised by Rockstar around mid-July by giving us the multiplayer information plus some more screenshots and the full GTA:V website. (Just like GTA:IV's)
Druffmaul
"Expect the worst... then you can only be pleasantly surprised." - Dwayne's dead pimp A-hole dad Speaking of GTA IV, it got delayed just two months before it was supposed to be released. It could happen again. But as has been pointed out, even if they do delay it again, they almost certain won't push it past the launch of the new consoles. So it wouldn't be that bad. K20
delay again after a 9 month delay? hardly. plus the first time round they just said release was "April 2013"... this time they gave an actual date. enough time to sort their sh*t out. ALSO any other delay and they'll overlap next gen release. which damages sales. so.... will there be another delay? NO
Karoi
I really can care less about if it will be delayed again. My hype isn't that big as it was for GTA III and IV. I don't digg that three characters and switching between them thing. I'm just optimistic. I'm sure once the game is released and I played with it, that I'm okay with it. Also I have plenty of other things to do before, during and after release so GTA:V isn't my top priority.
poklane
Because the last time they promised info 'soon', we didn't get info but a delay.
d3ex2
Just because we haven't had anything for a good few weeks now except those screenshots. You wouldn't think there was only 2 months and 3 weeks left until release. Where's the marketing??? I don't think they will delay it but I'm expecting a delay just so I'm prepared if they do. You can never trust Rockstar when it comes to release dates.
