TheDeaconBosco
Okay, this is kind of spam and all, but seriously, No pay and spray? this garage is like a GTA TRADITION! its been in every single 2d and 3d game, im unsure of the 1st and 2nd ones though. I think R* really screwed themselves with this decision. surely some else is gonna feel like the game is missing this vital thing? What else is tradition? erasing stars by driving over a star-emblem? oh, that's gone since ages. another tradition: the protagonist won't talk. oops, that's not the case since 2002. and another tradition: only one protagonist, oh... There is no such thing as a tradition or sh*t people say "this IS GTA or this IS NOT GTA." The only thing, the ONLY thing which is typical GTA tradition is what the title implies: the ability to steal cars. f*ck pay n spray. If it's gone for good or just got another name. I couldn't care less. You forgot Top Down gameplay in your list of traditions.
RonBWL
GTA V has the largest selection of vehicles, from boats, cars, bikes, air vehicles and more. Cars can be completely customized from their outside appearance to even their handling and performance now at Los Santos Customs, the replacement to Pay N' Sprays. Car handling has been improved, and feels more like a racing game from what I was told. http://www.destructoid.com/grand-theft-aut...er-252852.phtml 36th Paragraph. Just a 30 minutes demo won't prove that LS Custom replaces Pay 'n' Spray. I believe it's simply a new Car mod shop like Transfender in SA, whereas PnS are still on the map
MrSelfHater
Yeah, seriously - wasn't it awesome to have your car resprayed even if you didn't want to? And spending like 5 minutes just driving in & out of the damn thing just to get your black f*cking Sabre back? No. No, it wasn't.
Average white guy
I'd rather customise my car in a garage than drive my car in and out of a pay n spray just to get the color I want, but on the other hand pay n spray is faster if you just want to fix your car or truck. Grand Theft Savage
Did you really just say Rockstar screwed themselves with this decision? F*ck Pay 'n Spray. I rarely used it, and I'm glad as hell they will be replaced by shops that allow you to FULLY CUSTOMIZE YOUR VEHICLE instead of just getting the color changed. What's worse is that you can't even pick a color. Good riddance.
zeppelincheetah
I remember it was said that GTA IV didn't have pay n sprays and I threw a fit then. Maybe enough so that Rockstar put it in lol. I agree it is a GTA tradition - since GTA 1. There are few things now that go back that far. In fact that might be the only thing, other than location names (Liberty City, Vice City, San Andreas) because we no longer have kill frenzies (which were called rampages in the III era) and none of the names of the cars of GTA 1 have been used. I hope the original GTA theme is in this game. It was barely in GTA IV - only as a ringtone. They should make a modern remake - that would be so cool if Kendrick Lamar could do it with like Tom Morello on guitar.
GTAKid667
They are still in but just with a different name "Los Santos Customs" and you can now do more than just change the colour of your car. You can fully customise cars. I don't see why you would complain. They've just made it better and changed the name. This. I personally don't think it matters anyway. Rockstar can do what they want! Teh Edgiest Man on Earth
Pay and Spray was always a cancer.
Death2Drugs
1. Just go into the garage 2. Decide to only change the color of your car 3. You're out of the garage! Problem solved!
na89340qv0n34b09q340
Same thing, but different name and you can also customize your car at the same place, chill the f*ck out. You can customize now which kind of ruins the nostalgia(?) for some people. Maybe the interface will be chunky and nasty. Pay and sprays were simple and clean, but now we might have to navigate menus. (So nobody points it out, I realize that it sounds like pointless complaining, but it can add up along with other small problems to make a big snarl of a game.) Anyway, were any of the paint shops actually called "Pay and Spray" in IV? I know the Broker and Alderney ones weren't.
RonBWL
1. Just go into the garage 2. Decide to only change the color of your car 3. You're out of the garage! Problem solved! Not PnS: Drive in, wait a few seconds, drive out Mod Shop: Drive in, wait for menu to appear, select repairs/repaint, quit the menu, wait for loading back to game Two separate shops like in SA is perfect. V will likely do that too
