I don't give a sh*t how many times zombies have been attempted in the past, I just want them done RIGHT! Dead Island and Dead Rising are utter garbage. The outlandish weaponry, awkward gameplay, and overall douchebaggery of those games is insane. Don't even get me started on RE6! I played the sh*t out of Dayz, BUT only because of the survival aspects and the P2P gameplay which created a sense of tension. The zombies are essentially an after thought and so poorly done, they may as well have not even be in the game. Besides Undead Nightmare, L4D is acceptable. I trust R* would do it properly. Its optional so if u didnt want it dont but it. dunno why you ppl have such a problem with a genre that so many others obviously love. ( not that I love zombies but I think they can be really fun alternatives to the real game i.e RDR BO2 Not so many people love it. In fact look up older posts and you see more people against it now. I use to like zombies but it doesn't need to be in everything. Want a zombie free roam? Go buy Dead Rising or Dead Island. Nuff said. It's just not the same. GTA offers a large landscape, a really big choice of weapons, vehicles and stuff... Tell me one zombie game which has core elements almost similiar to GTA. Not saying I want zombies, but that "Go play game XY if you want Zombies" argument is hella stupid. If GTA will be anything like RDR the countryside is mostly going to be dead. Don't kid yourself and say zombies are all over the place. I walked through the countryside and maybe found 5 zombies the most. From McFarlane's Ranch to Armadillo. How boring is that. So you want a DLC that takes away more than 50% of the things we can do. They probably take away subs and planes for what? Just for zombies? We can just have the cheat in which everyone attacks you. It's the same concept. Never said I want Zombies all over the place or.did I? Nope. I played RDR UN for some time and I.actually did come across many groups of zombies, but that doesn't matter here. Thing about this is also the apocalyptic setting with burning buildings, etc, you get the idea. Not playing just because there are tons of brainless AI. Dead Rising 3 is set in LA. You can drive cars, shoot guns, and fight zombies. In an LA setting. I doubt it will be anything close in diversity as GTA. And you miss one important thing: XBox exclusive. The Walking Dead (the game): numerous GOTY awards, 17m units sold worldwide (AC3 has 12m) DayZ: according to its site, it has 1,737,741 players, which is insanely high for a mod on a hardware-intensive PC game. RDR Undead Nightmare: on RETAIL, it has sold 2m units as of 2011 and has an 87 metacritic review. Did I mention it's a DLC? The Last of Us: 95 on metacritic and 1.6 million units sold on the first week of release, making it the biggest video game opening this year. It's a console exclusive. Just because YOU don't like zombies doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. The world doesn't revolve around what you want. Same goes to every other "edgy" person here claiming to be speaking for everyone. The Walking Dead is a tv show that's about Drama NOT About the zombies. It's how people would react to them. The Walking Dead ( The Game ) ( I'm assuming your talking about the PSN/XBL one ) Is mostly about the story ( I never played it but watch a few videos about it ) DayZ is a mod. A lot of people play it cause it has survival aspects to it. RDR UN is a zombie but it could of been better The Last of Us is NOT a zombie game. You might face the infected 15% of the time. You face hunters more then you face infected. Plus it had a GREAT STORY. I said look up old posts on these forums and most people hate the zombie idea. Why would you want to take features out of the game for zombies. In Red Dead they took out about 50% of the features for zombies. Shouldn't a DLC add more instead of take away? One that takes place in a robust city and large countryside. GTA is the greatest sandbox game of all time. And V will have the perfect framework for the "dream" zombie game. Just because there have been alot of really bad zombie games/movies in the recent years doesnt mean a GTA zombie dlc wouldnt be amazing. It actually makes us zombie fans want such a DLC even more. I only want Rockstar to do a zombie DLC ONE TIME for a GTA, just to see how it would be. Rockstar still have a couple of months and seeing as they are Call of Duty I can't see them ripping us off by giving us 10% at £45 and then the rest in £11 bundles every month so it ends up costing £100's. I'd like the zombies to be like RDR undead nightmare expect it covers the whole map and as well as survival we could also have zombie mode which is basically free roam full of zombies and destruction. The cheat I wouldn't mind, cause the only cheats I use are the car ones, the wanted level, and the health cheats. If they did that I honestly wouldn't care. If they do a DLC I'll surely be pissed. But since Vice City I have been praying that rockstar would do a zombie title inside a city like GTA's. I was so mad when they did if for RDR because it was like getting a half assed version of my wish. If they do some sort of cheat for it I will be happy.
