But their are more people in here that rather have Rockstar focus their time on something new/original for a DLC instead of a copy and paste of UN or DR or DI. And if it was a DLC, there wasnt going to be a problem with all the zombie haters. Only buy if you want. Then go and buy a zombie game. Easy as that. No, maybe we want zombies in Los Santos. We cant buy that yet so we hope for the DLC I cant see why ppl getting so worked up over something they can take or leave? jeez I can't understand why people keep asking for the same repetitive stuff. I think a lot of people such as yourself don't understand what the the appeal is to a lot of people who make these damn threads all the time. There is no other game quite like GTA correct? What with the physics of the cars, pedestrians, the game world, etc. Add a mode where everyone is trying to kill you (much like the old cheats in the previous GTA generation, which I want!) and you would have something that is currently like nothing else out on the market. Please tell me a game that delivers everything that GTA has, but has zombies thrown in there. I don't want zombies (but I don't give a crap if they add them), I just want the pedestrians attack cheats back. It was fun running around trying to survive as every pedestrian was trying to mow you down and others. And now with all the engine and graphics upgrades, it would be awesome. Don't kid yourself and say zombies are all over the place. I walked through the countryside and maybe found 5 zombies the most. From McFarlane's Ranch to Armadillo. How boring is that. So you want a DLC that takes away more than 50% of the things we can do. They probably take away subs and planes for what? Just for zombies? We can just have the cheat in which everyone attacks you. Algonquin Assassin Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 I think it would be better (and probably more convincing) if there was some synthetic drug flooding the streets of LS (perhaps supplied from a local cartel) that causes its users to exhibit cannibalistic behaviour. They would be much harder to take down than regular peds and display symptons such as bloodshot eyes and frantic maneurisms like walking around twitching or whatever. Perhaps a riot in LS could be used as a back drop. I just think the idea of zombies is out of place in a GTA game, but something like this wouldn't be far fetched. It would be fresher than trying to fight undead. They would be real people and probably make things more tense like the infected in The Last Of Us. Though it's unlikely. From the once bustling streets of the city to the even quieter countryside. I'm a fan of The Walking Dead and I like SOME of the Zombie games, some of them are just sh*t and copied/made just for the sake of it. When done well these Zombie/survival horror games can rock. I would like to see Zombies. Another DLC could be a Terminator type theme where there are not many humans left and the machines are taking over. A werewolf DLC could work, as could a vampire theme (not twilight sh*t). You could whack Silent Hill weird sh*t into this map and it would work. I look at GTA as an awesome platform for these other style games as well as the actual game itself. The map + physics etc are realistic and that is why it can serve as a platform for other genres. Turn gravity down low and change the textures (and a few other things!) and you've got The Moon/other planets to play on! Also DLC doesn't have to be mutant/monsters etc, like with the terminator DLC there could be 1 that plays off Far Cry where there are military secrets to be revealed. The list is endless. Heck - you could even flood the game (raise sea level) and you've got another post apocalyptic world where the sea level roads (think up to 1st floor buildings) are flooded and not useable so boats are the more favoured mode of transport. You could make a Mad Max style game where whoever has fuel is king. My Laptop (this thing I'm typing on) is getting on now. I can play nearly all games but the settings would be on either very low or off for the most recent games. With that in mind, and with the clever mod makers etc I'll be buying a kick ass PC because there is SO MUCH SCOPE when it comes to what they can do with this game. Potentially ANY GENRE OF GAME (minus sports apart from racing, golf and others that are included IN the game) can be made. GTAV + Proper mod makers from this site will be freaking AWESOME!! (Please note I'm not talking about the HACKERS but the skilled MODDERS that alter the games state to make other interesting games). Sorry for going off topic but some people are blind and think that ONLY Michael, Trevor and Franklin should use this GTA5 universe... the truth is this map + physics can host a multitude of genres. Thing about this is also the apocalyptic setting with burning buildings, etc, you get the idea. Not playing just because there are tons of brainless AI. Like Being with a bunch of other survivalists. And there being other groups of survivalists who try to rob you and you end up killing them, Hell even finding a cure.
