jameznash
In Trailer 2 - at 0:29 (Trevor punching a guy in a bar). There is an Aquarium (not with water - for lizard or snake) in the back of the room with what looks like a box of food on top of it. The aquarium does look like its part of the room furniture (non interactive stuff). it looks more like you could have an animal in it and interact with it. If R* are putting snakes and lizards in the countryside then they may let you have one in your home or safe house in a tank. R* Have said hunting is in the game (not up to RDR standards) so maybe that means you can catch the smaller animals like snakes and keep them instead of killing/skinning them. Also on the wall behind the tank, there is animal wall paper or pictures of dear (hard to spot) Can somebody get a picture off the trailer of the tank. LBYN
It would be very trivial to program that into the game. In my honest opinion, if I ever wanted to raise a virtual animal, I'd use my old Tamagotchi, or play the Sims. I'm not saying other people wouldn't enjoy it, because I can bet someone out there would mess their pants if they found out there was a chance that you could catch and own lizards in Grand Theft Auto, it just doesn't seem right. I don't mean that you would have to raise it - I mean it would be cool to put a snake in an aquarium in your safe house. It would be appropriate for Trevor I think - would work for him to have a deadly snake or scorpion. If they go to all the effort to include animals in the game it would not take much extra to include that feature. You can have on display the rarest or deadliest animal you can find. IveGotNoValues
I actually like the sound of that. Catching your own animals and keeping them. Imagine if you could catch a wolf and keep it in a cage at Trevor's house, that would be so cool. Trevors version of Chop.
Polish_Trucker
It's most likely decoration.
jameznash
It's most likely decoration. If it was just decoration in the bar - it could it still have an animal in it. Maybe not able to change that animal but it would be a nice touch in making things look more real.
