Edit: I dont mean at bears that are wearing our underpants, that would be ridiculous why are you wasting space in these forums The irony... I would love for there to be snow, and if there was I would definitely go skiing, and try and use as many different vehicles as I can on the snow. Imagine a pick-up truck trying to get up a snowy mountain.

Black Sunshine
I would love snow to be in, I think it would be interesting to drive on ice. There is more than likely not going to be snow though.
ALT_of_CTRL
I think it's too soon to say that is we're not goingo to have snow in GTA V... we haven't seen anything in the north of the map
EvilFuture
I think there will be snow. Before you go saying "terz n0 sn0w en la" you gotta realize, there's snow in the mountains. I'm sure there will be a place similar to Tall Trees from Red Dead Redemption. Plus, there's a vehicle called "Snowplough" in that vehicle list from the Max Payne 3 files. waikzguy8998
I'm still surprised they never put snow in the original version of GTA IV (I know there's a snow mod for PC) Based on the time of year, temperatures, etc. you'd think they could've thrown us a little treat eh? It just makes you wonder about the future of GTA games,,,if for some reason they go back to another cold weather city, or add high altitude locations (possibly in V), it would be plausible to have some snow In GTA IV for example, since it was "fall/autumn" time, why couldn't they have had a set period of snow in the game? Not all the time and or on/off, but for a duration between missions, lets say between missions 18-30 there would be snow in the city... And for V, if it's big enough, maybe they will throw us a bone and have a snow village/couple of cabins or something (like Big Bear) would be cool but highly doubtful..then again, we may get that pleasant surprise on 9/
IveGotNoValues
If there is snow in the high up mountains, that would be amazing. I would love to drift and nearly go over the edge on those icy mountain roads. Although we haven't seen any snow yet, there's still alot of things they're hiding from us, so i have hope that its there.

Awesome news! It'll very lame if we dont get sonw in GTA V after the fun we have in RDR.

73duster
I really believe there WILL be snow in GTAV. There are several things that make this a plausible scenario. Most of the information, including screens, have been about the city. The city of Los Santos is only about 25% to 30% of the entire map, meaning that the majority of the map OUTSIDE of this region, has been a largely kept secret. Sure we have seen plenty of countryside screens, but they have been mostly the SAME areas, from different angles. The area we have been given the LEAST info on is the northern most region of the map. RDR successfully incorporated the region known as Tall Trees into what was mostly a desert like climate. Rockstar was able to have this area realistically exist in a map that is only a fraction of the size that GTAV will have. Rockstar has been keeping SOMETHING back, and considering how much information they have already released, I don't see much in terms of "surprises" left. There really IS snow in parts of California. All of these facts makes it completely reasonable to expect something like snow, which would also add something else that would separate it from the rest of the previous GTA installments.
