TakinThyBacon Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Do not think I have picked up a hooker since GTA 3 and even then I found it to be a boring feature, in V there was a hotdog stand around every corner, that is how I chose to regen my health. DetectDefective Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Prostitutes had a minor use in III and Vice City, boosting your health past the 100 mark (up to 125), but this was made useless in Vice City thanks to the Pizza Boy side mission (which boosted your health maximum up to 150). Getting serviced at 150 health would drop you right down to 125. In IV, there were more than enough hot dog stands around to fill your health back up. Prostitutes also didn't break the health max, rendering them a tad useless, unless you felt like seeing Niko get some. Hopefully in V, they break the health max and get some use this time around. Hookers have always been a part of the modern GTA games and 'beating up the hooker after sex to get the money back' even became a 'thing' from GTA. Very unlikely they'd just now ditch them on their biggest and best installment yet. Plus as we've said as evidence: - There are hookers in game. (Women have been seen walking up to car doors and bending over in the trailer) - It was GIRLFRIENDS that Rockstar said wouldn't be in-game because of families. Rockstar's statement saying how hookers just did not fit into the game because of Michael being a family man etc. was kind of silly. I mean, can't Franklin and Trevor get some action? It's not a huge problem but it's one of those small things I thought about. So what do you guys think about Rockstar's move to remove them from the game? Discuss. What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you want Hookers THAT badly? Sept17th2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Although I rarely use hookers I think they add alot to that "underworld" feeling of a GTA game. There's something gritty about picking a hooker on a foggy night in Bohan, driving to a secluded area and after she's finished bashing her skull in with a baseball bat infront of the car headlights.
