Why is there always a hater? the points OP makes are VERY GOOD. If they were part of the same universe I'd be saying that yes, Franklin could most definitely be the son of Cesar & Kendl. If you're saying that Franklin's looks are what a son of those characters might be like, then yes. Problem is, that still doesn't change the fact that he simply can't be their son, BECAUSE THEY EXIST IN DIFFERENT UNIVERSES! If you have a problem with that, email Rockstar. However, in the Game Informer preview, they said Franklin was in his mid-20s, meaning he would've been born in the late 1980s, not in the early 1990s. Physical characters such as Tommy, CJ, Kendl, and Cesar will not cross universes, therefore, cannot be in GTA 5. Since they aren't in GTA 5, Franklin definitely isn't their son. EDIT: There are references to the 3D era but only in text/images, such as the RIP text for CJ and Claude in Nikos apartment. There's also the Love Fist posters, but Love Fist cant appear physically in the HD era because they were in a concert in Vice City, if I'm not mistaken. This is what I tried to explain in my post above. But it can only be helpful if someone else says it with different wording. If it's explained enough times, there's a chance that one of these guys might eventually begin to actually understand. Love Fist were in cut scenes and you did missions for/with them. You drove them in their special Love Fist Stretch Limo. As you say, they cannot appear physically in the HD universe. According to Rockstar's rules they can only appear in print and on the radio. Lazlow has never physically appeared. He's only ever gone unseen on the radio which is why he can 'cross' universes. If you want to think of it the other way round, if they ever did another instalment from the 3D universe, then theoretically, the Republican Space Rangers could appear on TV there. There's a difference between stating that the games do not share the same canon, and saying something won't be in the game when it is still being developed. Hell, people didn't even need Rockstar to confirm the games are in different universes. It was obvious from the start that they weren't in the same universe since Liberty City was completely different, older characters didn't exist, the history was different - everything. I'd say any retard should be able to figure that out, but obviously that is not the case. But the OP hasn't say a word about that Cesar and/or Kendl will be in GTA:V, so what the f*** are you guys talking about with this ''different universe, HD universe (or how you wan't to call it)'' bullsh*t? Michael one of the main protagonists is actually Mike a minor character in San Andreas. He was a bodyguard of Salvatore Leone in that game. After returning back to Liberty city with Salvatore after the business in San Andreas he decided to move to Los santos permanently. 2. Franklin is Cj's nephew. His mother is Cj's sister and his father Cj's friend from San Andreas - Cesar Vialpando. He sees Michael (who has become a friend of Cj since he moved to Los santos) as a father figure. 3. Cesar's whereabouts is unknown. He went to Liberty City to avenge the death of his cousin Catalina by Claude. This is one of the major themes of gta 5.
