Oh wait. There was no Claude, or 8-ball or Maria or anyone related to them for that matter. The closest we would to this was if Franklins father was hispanic and his mother African American, thus making the couple a suddle refenrence to César and Kendl. One loophole though: Kendl is depicted as intelligent and pragmatic which suggests that although her brothers turned to crime as a last resort to support themselves. Kendl could become successful within the bounds of the law which makes her the "brains" of CJ's business ventures. She possesses entrepreneurial talents, strong willpower, creativity, and a sense of leadership. Because of the above, it wouldn't really make sense that Franklin has fallen in to gangsta life. But lets say they f*ck and Franklin gets born in 1993, that would make him 20 today, and as we know Franklin is said to be in his late twenties in the game informer article and unless they completely change every model for his character so he looks younger (he has more variations than there are peds in SA) I really don't see it. richard1997jones Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 not even going to read your post for one simple reason: all characters from the SD universe do not, and have never existed in the HD universe. meaning all characters from GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, LCS, and VCS never existed in IV, V, or any other future title. It's sad that they don't make links but in response there is no way Franklin is the Sun. He is too old and he would have a different skin colour. Major characters do not cross over from the last generation universe to the "HD Universe", period. The universe is just Rockstar's way of being lazy to actually incorporate and make a one beautiful huge story in this f*cking game. So you'd want the map layout of LC & LS in the current gen GTA games, to be exactly the same as those from last gen's III & SA, only with better graphics? In fact, don't answer that. The rule is that characters that we don't see like Lazlow, or 2D elements like advertisements or brands can pass between universes. 3D characters that we see, cannot. Love Fist appeared as 3D characters in VC. So they cannot appear in the.HD universe except as unseen (eg on the radio) or in 2D (eg in print). I would compare a Max Payne character to another Max Payne character, but I don't know any because that game sucked out loud (plus the point wasn't about franchises, it was about how it's not going to happen...ever. I could have just as easily said "Mario is the son of Sonic the Hedgehog" and gotten the same point across).
