Revolution-XW
NSPCC, PETA, NSPOA, NSPOB, NWCC, WWF, NCPS..... the whole lot. basically, shami chakrabarti's nightmare come true. Lol PETA is totally cool with a person getting shot but sh*t their hemp pants when you flick misquito off your shoulder. Hahahahahaha They'll probably say, *ahem* That is not what our cheap company PETA is based about, sir.

kjacked
Every GTA game (actually most Rockstar games) receives some sort of controversy. In IV it was the drunk driving feature plus the usual stuff. What new feature/s do you think will get some media attention? With all the mass shootings the last few years and the government targeting conservative groups and congress running our country into the ground I think the news has more important sh*t to talk about

Gigabomber
How much better it is than Watchdogs and most other next gen titles. There might be something in the plot that outweighs the animal killing, but I will applaud rockstar if they let us Punt small rich women's dogs. GlitzyTomb
Countdown to..... In this game, in this game, your children, your precious children, get points. Points! For murdering prostitutes, killing animals, doing drugs, driving recklessly, and killing minorities. It's a fact. It's a race to get the high score by victimizing as many people as possible, that's the whole point of the game. Also our old disbarred friend Jack Thompson will make some sideways remark somewhere and people will act as though he has/had any credibility whatsoever. 73duster
So far, I haven't seen ONE thing that looks controversial. There are numerous examples of things that have occurred in other games without any public outcry. People have become increasingly desensitized to sex and violence in video games. RDR already had animals you could obliterate, and there wasn't even a peep out of PETA, or any other animal rights activists. Violence against humans is the main ingredient in 90% of video games. One particular level of COD Modern Warfare, where you simply mowed down over a HUNDRED innocent people at an airport, was a complete massacre simulator for potential Columbine or Sandy Hook nutjobs. As far as i'm concerned, if you didn't complain about THAT, then there's NOTHING that can happen in a GTA game short of committing RAPE, that you can realistically complain about. There was even some surprising nudity in Max Payne 3, that nobody complained about. As for some douchebag in congress making any stink about GTA, they are completely OWNED by the NRA, and if they refused to say anything negative about REAL guns and gun violence, then they would look incredibly stupid complaining about guns and violence in a video game. Now we narrow it down to GTAV, and I haven't seen ONE thing in all of the information we've received to date, that shows ANYTHING remotely controversial. GTA just isn't as shocking as it used to be. Congress hasn't said anything negative about guns and gun violence? What rock do you live under? Sure, a couple of them TRIED to do something, but the vast majority of congress shut them down. The main point is that even after Sandy Hook, the government was shown to be mostly PRO NRA, and did nothing significant other than talk BS. They would look awfully stupid trying to stir up controversy over violence in a video game. Furthermore, there isn't anything more violent in terms of mass destruction and guns, as all of the first person shooters such as COD, Battlefield or any of the other games featuring the armed forces. I personally think the government LOVES those games in particular because they promote the military, and probably does more in terms of recruitment than anything else. The body count in GTA is nowhere near any of these games.

XXVIII
Undoubtedly, Grand Theft Auto: V controversy will be in someway profoundly elicited by the corrupt, United States bureaucracy, and liberal media outlets. Joe Biden will be sure to attribute a dominance of gun violence to the likes of video games such as the Grand Theft Auto series. Thank goodness Jack Thompson no longer operates as a Florida attorney at the expense of an issued disbarment, for he was once regarded as a relentless nuisance to American video game enthusiasts. He struck just prior to the release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' release in 2004.
